Server locks out all players

I've noticed this a few times every so often. Right after a match has been completed and the server begins to start a new map. Just as I connect to the server it will block me along with everyone else from connecting until a new match has begun. I don't remember the map that was active when the server was blocking everyone. Next time I experience this I will take note and report it ASAP. Below is my hardware specs:

Fedora Core 4 x86-32
Kernel version: 2.6.14-1
Dual Opteron 242's
4GB DDR 400
Geforce 6800 AGP 128MB dual DVI video
Netgear FWAG114 router
Bellsouth DSL (400KB down/50KB up)

Thanks for the heads up, ut it's critical that I know the map. Can you tell me what time it was? I might be able to tell from the logs.

It was on the 24th of january. As for the time it was somehwere in-between 0000 - 0030.
