Thought on LOVE DAY!

Happy Valentines Day !!!!!

Just a thought. If it takes this day to start people thinking about love maybe we should consider were the world really is. We need a day to remind us...and show those we love how much we love them :scratch:. Okay this really does not sit well with me. As many of you know I thought I was going to loose my wife at the end of last year. I realized not only my love for my wife but also my three children and the rest of my family and friends who helped us through that situation. That also includes DW-SVA in this community. So my scepticism of this day is on the media and market front. It seems that the only ones who profit are the buisness and industry. Some sucker will mortage his entire families next week income to try and show a person he cares when he needs to be home each night tucking his kids into bed and reading them a story.
So what am I saying! money and materials do not make or even accuratly express what love is but in todays society you don't get far in peoples eyes with out them.

I agree with ya, Acy....the day has been commercialized to no end....but it's meaning is still within our grasp.

Love isn't just a card, some flowers, jewelry or chocolates...it's about being there for someone you care about...sharing kind words....a smile...laughter....tears. Whether it's the love of your life, or a great friend, open your heart today of all days and share the words you find there.
