everything is WAY too weak. I know hornet has mentioned it before so i didn't want to beat a dead horse. . . BUT...
  • everything beyond about wave 5 (but the aliens) need to be doubled in strength just period.
  • the martians need to be about 75% the current toughness.
  • add some magic to lucifer. knockback would be AWESOME cuz ppl just stand around and peg on him while AM's get up close. a couple of near shots and he'd 1) knock the ams off and 2) splash himself away.
Anyway, when i, with my 50 dr and 250 starting health, can stand a facefull of queen plasma and not die, i think it's time to bump things up a couple notches.

on a different note, i have a suggestion, and it may "fix" the above issue.

monsters should be tuffness rated, and only appear in a certain block of waves.

for example. . . raptors. when they first show up on wave 5, they should be the tuffest thing on the map. on wave 10, their last wave, they should be the weakest thing on the map. spiderchicks first show up on 10 and should be the strongest thing, and on 15 be the weakest thing.

the different types of monsters basically extend their general wave appearance. for example... green raptors are the weakest, and show for 4 waves first on wave 5, last on 8. blues show on 6-9, reds on 7-10.

I think this will help accellerate the difficulty of the game without pushing low level players out of the game so quickly. the tuff stuff will more slowly appear in the game. so that on wave 15 there's the tuffest titans, a handful of queens and spiders, and the tuff-ass martians.

wraith if youd like, i'll take an inventory of monsters, and list them out in this way so that all you have to do is change the config.

Monsto, You need to explain what you mean by toughness. For me most of the monsters that fire missiles are pretty easy to avoid anyway. Do you mean we should make them harder to kill, change the attributes of the projectiles? Make the projectiles do more damage? TBH I don't know what we can easily set, however there is some vagueness by just saying we need to make this harder.

Also the gobs of adrenaline we placed in some maps didn't help. Friendly AMs with a good supply of adrenaline means good weapons for all, which in turn means monsters don't live long or aren't a challenge.

except 15 . The all of a sudden vapoorized , can sorta suck . But is much better then what it came from . Those sheild tittans are buggers.

hornet, all of the above. there are times where nobody dies on later waves. there are times where everyone survives lucifer. when i said, "everything beyond about wave 5 (but the aliens) need to be doubled in strength just period." i meant everything doubled... double dr, double damage amp, double health.

as far as 'making weapons for everyone,' i'd think that at the most active times i make maybe 3 weapons for other people. and during the times where all of us are on and a couple vorpals and nulls and other high power weappons are handed out, the total is about 6 weapons.

even so, except for the vorpal, a titan shouldn't drop after 2 shots from a null 6 lightning. even with max db.

Well martians are buggy and should have never been added IMO until their issues fixed. DB either needs to be reduced, or monsters need to be upped. Most likely both will happen at the same time and no one will understand why.
