That's it, I'm opening a 32p invasion server with a store that rat b******.

Someone go join the UI server and extract it and see if it's Snaggle's work.
(In best John Wayne voice) Woah there pilgrim!

Two points:

1) It's a server-side only mutator so it's not pulled into your cache (I know I tried it last night prior to posting). This is also true of our version; and

2) Monsto posted our mutator & a proof-of-concept map on the DC forums so it is fair game. This was done after discussions with Wraith, Hornet, Monsto and most of the regular Monster Mash crew. It was felt that it was a good 'give-back' to the community.

I am kinda surprised they would rename it if it is the same code. They may have changed the name of the notification tags and thus didn't want people to be confused. I really don't know.

I just thought it was funny that it was there at all.

Sorry if it opened old wounds. :banghead:

OK, I did not realize you guys released it.

I still don't trust that his visit was casual, but maybe that's just me.

But still, think Clovertown could handle a 32p Invasion server with a store? :blackeye: :cyclopsani:

The mutator we used isn't server-side, If it is, then I can pull it from the mutator lists in the config file I guess. Everyone who joins the server gets the file, as I see it is in my cache if I'm not mistaken. I know for awhile you said you can make it serverside or a mutator, and while I wanted it serverside, at least for awhile, so we'd have more exclusive things, but it didn't happen.
But its alright with me. Regardless of what UI does, we'll always have the upper hand in regards to Toxic's lagfree server, and friendly peeps all-round, and having KarmaKat as the denmother kitty, who could ask for anything more, not to mention the Free as in beer Vent server (available to anyone, 24/7) that can hold every player on all 4 servers with ease?

Sonic? On Monster Mash? No! Really?

I've seen a couple of -UI- tags on there but never Sonic. Wraith & the crew must be doing a good job if he's paying visits. :headbang:

32p Invasion! Holy cr@p! We'd need maps the size of VolcanoHigh just to hold the players.... (Now there's an idea....Hunt the Wumpus!).

However, a well-written store would run just fine on there. With a good CPU & fast IO hardware a lot of the problems of single-threaded game servers can be alleviated.

But that's another (potential) discussion topic.

Cue bad detective movie, accusatory, gathered in the fireplace room, final scene music:

Ah ha!

The important thing about making it a server-side only mutuator is that changes can be made without the risk of version mismatches.

Oh well.

The judges also would have accepted:

K, in the backside, with his shaft :drunken:
