I totally agree.

I like the note idea. And if anyone still votes mid-game, perhaps they could be warned with something like "Please do not vote until after the game is over." The message could be broadcast to all players warning of consequences or only to whoever voted.

Its good to see we all agree on this.

I like the idea of vacations for repeat offenders,
TRY TO RIG THE MAP VOTE AND YOULL MISS THE NEXT 4 OR 5 MAPS. simple and effective.

You guys are all/mostly server 1 regulars, I play server 2 and we have exactly
the same problem there too. It happens too often and is Infuriating.

I agree fully with the pretty lady.

uuh i have seen everyone, who has posted on this, with the exception of Terra and possibly Hero playing in server 2 aswel as server 1 :cyclops:

hehe I mostly spend most of my time in server II. All of my friends I know in person play there so it's not us that's complaining....My friends are very irritated of mid game voting as well.

This must stop.

I do try to be un-nooby, and I work for ages, sometimes the 1st 3 waves trying to get to or searching for a good place to camp (yes, I rlly DO have no choice) and then it is irritating when peeps at my lvl or 10-15 below start voting another map... and I don't like AChina either! It is hard on maps with a low amount of hides, firing ones or not, seeker-proof or useless, and sometimes a popular map from the original install comes and there are no hides. That is when I have to go mash some bots :compress:

So yeah it has to stop. I agree.

We will watch it the best we can, I do agree with you Jons Return I have a level 50 medic and it can be tough to get started.
Also after spending several waves getting what you need its frustrating for others trying to change the map because they
personally don't like it. None of us like all of the maps, of that I am sure.

Since i play hours per day again on your Server ( or generally UT2004 ), i guess it was like 4 times that i saw that guys make mid-game votings. Just beacause all die and just 1 person ist still fighting against the miniboss ( that guy was like lvl 42 and mm ) they started to vote mid-game. Ok, it tooks a long time for this guy to kill the miniboss but he gets much xp ( lvled 3 times) and im not angry about the time that i waited. I just wanted to kick that brats who maked the midgame votes from the server ! :angryfire:

if you auto rigged it, it might trigger on the vote map (when the server crashes) where people vote even if some1s left alive
