Easy maps are smooth and relaxing. I honestly say that I don't want to play Akbal maps for 5 hours straight. I want to throw in one or two easy ones just to ... relax.
Boss I don't disagree with you that there has to be a variety in map tempo/difficulty. But there's no reason a map that's easy has to have tons of adren on it. It just caters the map to one character class in a way that isn't possible with the other two classes.

Triple Damage no longer runs with Lightning Rod so I don't think many people will chose to spam LR when they can use Triple ^^
Also.. maybe it's not just the maps that make it less challenging.. when you get to a high enough level where hardly any monster is a threat to you unless your the lowest level player alive.. If only a Titan can kill you then you are going to find it really easy, especially when people hide away so the monsters stay at a easy low level range, your not going to die unless a rock hits you in the face.
there's an easy answer to this... if YOU want a challenge, YOU dont use the spawns. Otherwise you will be the only generation of AMs because all noobs will pick medic because it is hard to keep up an AM without somwhere to get adren. I reckon it is really selfish to want the spawns gone just so you can have a challenge while noob adrens either sit around on a 2 adren spawn for the 1st 10 waves then die, or sit around dead after using all your ammo and doing a leroy. :angryfire: I say leave the spawns and don't use them. It's pretty... hmm... evil to take away spawns to make more of a challenge for everyone. Again, the kind of thing that waould leave only lvl 80+ playing the server.
you know the corridors where you can "hide" in that are in the corners? they are "safe" but only with alot of people
we need safe rooms that have multiple, people sized openings, so you need someone covering each door to be able to survive
if you have to trans or teleport to get there, then monsters and bigger projectiles cant get you. just make the "peek holes" bigger so anything can fit in it.

You could kill monsters for adren. You're forgetting that AM don't NEED fast rate adren spawns to play. It makes things easier and lets low lvl AM use AM abilities as if they are over lvl 200. IMO it's quite selfish to complain you can't play at the same rate as someone else who has earned that ability.

I think you need to seriously reconsider this statement, or your playstyle.
On my level 80 AM (who does not even have maxed DB or Energy Leech) I get ~10 adrenaline every time I shoot LtG, assuming a normal monster level. That's roughly 3 energy per MP5 bullet I connect with, + 2xScore adrenaline (a normal score for me on this character is about 4,000-5,000, so approximately 10,000 adrenaline from that alone).
As a high lvl AM I would LOVE and I mean LOVE to see the amount of adren pills lowered. I get most of my adren from killiing and really don't need all the adren pills that I see on some of the maps. If you give me that many adren pills I will own every map and most people will not like it when I'm playing. This goes for all high lvl AM as well as myself. It takes both the fun and skill out of the game. Theres a lot more of a rush when I see I'm low on adren and I have to stay and fight or we lose the map rather than knowing in the back of my mind I know I can run and fill up on adren again. I would much rather see us lose a map for trying than offering me an endless supply of adren. Thats just my opinion though.
it seems I decided to play as an adren at the wrong time... the time of the Highlevelism revolution.... whatever, I hate having to go out of a hide, get some kills then die and watch all the high players pwn the monsters just to use my mwm. I'm sure many players who play but are not on the forums who are newb AMs would agree with this, and the previous post. And in the end, when the Newb AM generation will become (in time) the generation who gives back an INCREDIBLE amount by tanking. I have never played when a map has been won without globe tankers. Just wait and see. I want to play an adren to give back. Now you lot want to take away just because you passed the stage where you needed adren. I'm not a great UT2004 player, I get beat down on AS ans ONS but I don't think only good players should have fun.
