All I can say is that Microsoft's stated intent is that, "If it runs on Vista, it runs on Windows 7".

40 Shards wrote:The main problem with this would be player numbers; if you think about it, the player count for both servers is usually composed primarily of sub-100s, so either a) the high levels would all leave to play server 3 at the same time, leaving maybe a couple on the other two and producing some very difficult games there, or b) server 3 wouldn't have enough players to make an uber-difficult game worthwhile.

Also, if the server had super-hard monsters and the maps had very few hidey holes then there would be no point playing as a medic, and, most likely, it would be impossible to survive the later waves without a globe. There aren't that many truly difficult monsters out there that aren't just silly or irritating, and few difficult but high-quality maps either.

Finally, it wasn't that long ago DW ran entirely out of bandwidth for downloads, so while they're doing their best to make sure it doesn't happen again, another (popular) server could really start to cause problems.

It's a nice idea, but I'm doubtful it'll happen.
Doesn't matter what kind of monsters are on the server if every player is level say 200+ a freakin nali cow on wave one wagging its tail at you could end up killing people, never mind the wave 13 chompy raptors. a server with no low level players what-so-ever when the monster level is determined by player levels is not gonna work. You see it all the time in the servers when a really high level player has to go hide because all the low level players died, they simply cannot keep their adren up against the monsters because they do basically no damage to them, which would be the case in a server of the type you are talking about.

Yea, i agree with Miss Rocket statement.

I play my level on server 1. I have to admit that I couldn't move around that effective all waves when level 70 raptors, seekers became instagib. And I dislike camping or hiding, that what she said, you are an dancing king.

Wouldnt it be the like ur starting a new character on server 1 or 2? I mean there are a lot of player which are lvl 300+ so the 200+ would be the " lows " and the 300+ would be the "highs".
Just a question :bounce:

If the monsters are at level 200-300, it wouldn't make a difference. No one will be able to kill a nali cow.
The difference between successful people from others is
not in the lack of strength,
not in the lack of knowledge,
but rather in the lack of will.

Yes, but like she said killing level 200 monsters (whether your level 200 or 300) is very very hard even on the early waves and basically impossible on the later waves.

Even at level 170ish, with a tripled energy flak/mp5 +4, Cheaps' Cavern recently proved itself to be utterly impossible when left on my own on wave 11, adren just kept falling no matter what. Just to point out however that monster levels can be tweaked to almost completely disregard player levels (http://www.clandw.org/distribution/view ... =11&t=2048 - replace 0.34 with whatever).
