Yes that is a very bad feature of WM/AM pets summoned from dropped charms. Is there some reasoning behind this other than medics are the pet summoning class and IT SHALL BE SO? I'd like to see the time limit increased if nothing else as they only last a wave or so now and in any case they tend to get owned once the rocks start flying. If there are server load issues at play here or if you fear an overload of summoned pets when everyone starts using them more, lower the charm drop rate so they become a much rarer item but a much more valued one.

One other thing on the charm pets is a request to randomize what you get rather than base it on current adren level. So instead of always getting the titan at >= 150 adren, have it draw randomly from a list so you can get maybe a titan, or a queen or maybe Franky's idea with a seeker. Also would be nice to have them get better stats based on adren spent. So if you have more than 150 adren, you can use it when you choose to activate the charm and get a stronger version of the titan/queen/whatever than you would otherwise get.
I don't overly agree. Monster Master is the class with pets, and has to spend valuable skill points on them to get them up to titan and give them better stats. If you want something like this then it would have to have something in everyones skill list so you have to buy better pets, as in, you can level up the dropped monster charm. Don't forget WM already get monsters that live slightly longer and do more damage than the monster by the actual monster class. AMs don't have such advantages but ... tbh neither a WM or a AM should have pets. The only thing I think they should be there for is the extra exp on luci wave so everyone benifits. :ssmile:

I didn't realize that WM/AM pets timed out but that finally explains why they always disappear for no reason.

I didn't realize that WM/AM pets timed out but that finally explains why they always disappear for no reason.
Takes way longer for a medic to get full use of a globe / trip imo than it does for people to summon a monster :stongue: least my nub medic cant use a trip / globe very well at all even with trip damage I still do way less than most other people :swink:

But tbh, I dont bother with the summon charms, waste of adren on my WM!

Not a decision on my part although I am fine with summon charm creatures only lasting 5 minutes. Loaded Monsters / Monster Points together requires several hundred points of expenditure to even summon something like a Titan, yet with a summon Charm you can pop one out easily as long as you have - what 150 adren?

Hehe, just joshing. It's just that whenever a class should not be allowed to use an existing artifact, or all classes should be allowed to use single-class-only artifacts, something else has to give. :swink: No pets for WM/AM? Ok fine but then how about no fighting artifacts for medics? :stongue:

Whether a pet is feasible for a WM (or AM) depends on stats. No DR for you means pets die quickly. If you have only 150 adren, you won't be spawning anything when you're out globing in the fray! But with DR maxed and more adren than you can use, WM/AM pets can get a few kills. Not lots but a few. My WM/AM pets often get kills in the mid teens. Their max is something like 20 or 22 for my WM. Not bad for titans that throw rocks without aiming and rarely hit anything. :sbigsmile:

Plus pets of course good for meat shields. If my pet titan takes a hit from an enemy rock, it'll die instantly while saving my bacon. It's like using a protection weapon but without my health dropping to 1. :sbigsmile:

I ended up voting for the Giant Razor Fly, Elite Mercenary, and Skaarj.

The Giant Razor Fly for large open maps. They're fast, strong, holds deadly bit, and they make great survivors. Except against Titans rock and Seekers.

Elite Mercenary is another favorite of mine. They're a good all-rounder. They fight very well in all environments with little trouble.

Skaarj is also on the top of my list. They can help knock up experience points faster wave 16. But only if I can both of them to bombard Lucifer at the same time. But a side from that. They very useful against Queens and Raptors.

1- Brute
One brute alone may not be very usefull, however...
Use them in pairs, these guys can be a force to be reconed with...
stay close to them with your healing sphere, and you can pretty much survive untill wave 10 easily.

2 - Raptor
These guys have a lot of health, and last and last and last, like a frikking energizer.
Use a raptor together with another monster that you can afford, and stick close.
The raptor is perhaps the best monster there is to offer you protection.

3 - Queen
Although the queen doesn't offer much protection, as it's allways teleporting, the queen is perhaps the strongest of all.
Even stronger than the mini titan I may add.
The queen is relentless and will not stop untill either it or the enemy is destroyed.
