Well Gorzakk, like I said before I share a lot of your concerns, but I'm not entirely convinced of your pessimism.

I'm a natural voice of cynicism and morbidity. Makes me good at predicting things as the future generally takes a turn for the worse when we let it.

As a newcomer to UT, I can barely understand your concerns, but as with everything there can always be improvements.

And thats why we have ppl like Gorzakk!! Can't wait to see how 2007 will be and how can Gorzakk improve it to enhance our fun.

Midway are the ones responsible for releasing the utterly dire Unreal Championship 2 on Xbox. Anyone play this? I looked forward to it for months. I really did. I eagerly awaited its release and followed every scrap of info that was leaked out about it. I was at the shop as soon as the doors were open to buy it. Payed my 40 quid ("bucks" if you will) and got it home. Popped it in with glee and awaited what would surely be the finest gaming experience of my life....

Plain and simple FPS suck ass on consoles. IMHO.

Yeah and thats my point. This is primarily a PS3 game, not a PC game.

Given that you'll likely need a $600 graphics card to play it, given that a PS3 will cost around $500, and given that all the specs the developers are working to is the maximum a PS3 will handle, not the highest average PC specs, its clear this is a console game first, a PC game second.

- Well .. This has been the only game that actually made me Get out of my house and head to the nearest Walmart.. To freaking pay 39.99 dollars.. for the Game DVD's - and since then no other Game Ive tried has cought my attention much less make me want to go and buy a Full Version ..-- What! I even went twice .. to Buy UT2004 -- thats right..

I dont care if the game had bugs.. I dont care if theres vehicles that seem to be useless for me , while others are so powerfull , because someone is going to come and use them anyway .. and will like them .. also I dont care if weapons are badass or just stupid useless ones.. -- You know what I care for ..? -- The fun I get out of this.. The oportunity To share that fun with real people out there .. who like me only want to have fun and Play such a nice Game -- That game (well developed or not for some ) brings the environment for it.. -- As well as the Public servers hosted by those great people who just want to provide the space for a comunity of UT lovers to Game on! ..
