NO WOMAN - NO CRY
If I’m in the mood to do well and compete, then I only spawn kill for the "advancement" of the team, as someone put it.
But I have to admit, even though I rarely do it anymore, I get a damn good chuckle heading to a node that is starting up and spawn killin’ the crap out of it - although this can also be strategy! Slowing the advance of your enemy enough to get a critical node in place can be crucial to victory - why do you think so many clans send a raptor to intercept first nodes??
For me it comes down to pride. When I look at the final scores, and one person has 170, and I’m there with 105 that I got on foot and with skill, I’m satisfied. It’s not always about the absolute top score!
I just laugh like crazy, esp. when people go wahhhhhhhhh! Pomona says it best - if you are getting nailed - then go to the map and re-choose a spawn point and not only that, I also agree with his note that you can learn to dodge-jump away from them.

It's never about the top score. I always love it when people say they won when they are sitting in that spot. Without the rest of us out there you might not be sitting in that top spot.
