But we are all in an agreement that health care is a major problem in this country however it seems as though no one has provided alternative solutions other than keep the broken system or let the government take care of it. I want it fixed and I would like to see everyone get affordable insurance. But we need more options and someone has to provide us with those options without jumping into the water only to find out your swimming with sharks.
We need solutions that will rein in the insurance companies, lower the cost of medication and to provide people the basic medical necessities that will prevent major medical costs. It’s not like we need to walk on water to get to the other side of the lake when all we needed was a boat. We know the problems we just need alternative solutions so we can look at the entire picture before letting someone make the decision for us.

We'll see what comes out on the tail end I'm sure in a couple months , if anything . I just keep hearing these nasty rumors that the Industry has our congressmen in their back pockets , see Acy's notes back on page 1.
Any sort of public option / co-op keeps looking on again off again.
There is still not legislation to provide competition in alot of areas of any shape , especially without the public option .
Talking to someone close to me in the medical profession , they told me they were against TORT reform because then doctors would stop caring if they didn't have to worry about their pocket book , that gave me a warm feeling all over . I told him instead of suing their ass how about we fire it . On that note when was the last time you heard of a doctor being fired over negligence. We don't get rid of them as doctors , we just sue them .
Still nothing in legislation about actually allowing foreign meds in . Canda's penicillin just isn't safe , don't cha know .
I heard this the morning on the Morning meeting , maybe it's just to big to fix ? Sorta makes you wonder .

We may be able to sue the doctors now but under the new health care bill we can't sue the government. How ironic is that!!DW_Bomzin wrote: We don't get rid of them as doctors , we just sue them .
hope to see a solution because American citizens need help.
Interesting video

Sounds like a win-win situation to me.
Uninsured people get cheap state-healthcare, and people who pay to much for private-healthcare will have to pay less.

Well either your coming around Damage or you believe health care is a privilege or I missed the point .
I'm all for people making a buck . Capitalism is a great thing . Competitive markets are good . There is no competition in health care . You are at the whims of their mercy . If it were competitive when you call for prices , they would not ask you who your insurance is just give you a price .
Want to have some fun , call around to your local emergency room for prices on procedures . Just tell them you are planning ahead. I bet you would be dumb founded .
