Welcome Ack-Ack! I remember you from the Reaper's Bane server that always played Torlan - Phoenix Paradise... Everybody thought you were botting just because you could shoot all the way across the map thru the fog with the turret and hit guys running on foot... Did they ban you? That prick Viper-X banned me for pwning too much with the Ion Tank (he thought I was botting)...

Lighten up on MM! It's the kinder, gentler game type and the people really like it. I've noticed that the MM players develop extreme hitscan skillz after playing it for a while.
Maps like Nightwolf's versions of Minus Tank & Grit Nights plus 2Tricky & Raceway2 with the souped-up Scorpion & all the crazy tanks will keep ONS alive & kicking, but UT3 Warfare is the game type of the future and unfortunately is just too far ahead of its time right now.

Wow, hold on there. Where did I say anyone wasn't allowed to play MM? I just said they should be punished. Everyone knows they won't be punished. JDub, as a government teacher and as Bomzin stated you can share your opinion all you want but be ready for the responsibility of what you share. Yeah everyone has the right but everyone seems to forget about the responsibility part. They go hand in hand and are inseparable, right and responsibility.

1st of all Hi ack Ack and welcome to the community. Hope to see you on the servers and glad you found your way here.
As far as JDubs goes this was suppose to be Ack Acks thread to say hi and not a place to try and voice your opinion or sway someone from MM. I would post your remarks in the approriate forum or as Bomzin said keep it to yourself.
Since I see 3, wait 4, umm 5, errr 6 and counting Admins making a post here I would keep just it to yourself.
Just my opnion though.

Whoa there! Who knew I'd be in the middle of a war between two worlds, especially two most excellent worlds of UT!
As the saying goes "Can't we all just get along?"
I love all the UT worlds, that's what makes it great! To those who love the team maps - CTF / ONS - me too! To those who love the MM community and the invasion maps - me too!
Kudos to all who have made online gaming in UT so damn fun!
But here and now, we are in the realm of the Death Warrant Clan. In this realm, we pay homage to the masters of the house, the MM admins and those who have created the maps, weps, and add-ins that make MM 1 & 2 such a blast to hang out in!
This is a world where you can be a selfish slob (as I probably have been too often) and just work on making yourself stronger, or you can help your brothers and sisters with advice, a shot of health now and then, and share a few artifacts or inf weps along the way to make them stronger.
NOW - for those who wish to argue the merits of MM:

> "That place is strong with the dark side of the Force. A domain of evil it is. In you must go."

> "Only what you take with you."

I can understand people burning out on ONS what with the direction its going but that still doesn't excuse the crap that is MM. MM is a perversion of the UT engine, a fundamentally flawed creation that should never have been attempted. It is an exercise in madness and those who choose it over DM, TAM and ONS should be punished.
