Yes, unfortunately.

I have been considering building in an option into some future version of DWRPG that will allow people whose entire arguments for/against anything are boiled down to "It has been this way in the past" or "This benefits me" to utilize DruidsRPG200 behavior for their characters. This would allow the people who are unhappy with the hundreds of beneficial changes I've made for this server to play with things exactly as they used to be. On the other hand I think there are people who will always find something to complain about regardless, so such an option doesn't seem likely to stop people from complaining about stupid minor things, and that it's all basically a waste of my time.

Initially I liked the idea of temporarily disengaging a triple when switching to a non triple-able weapon. However after using it a bit, I actually preferred it before. As per others, I often briefly switched to such a weapon to cancel the triple without switching to it in my inventory. I'll live with whatever is offered however if the triple doesn't work with vorpal et al, should it still be consuming adren?

One other thing I've noticed a few times (just with flak, I think) is that sometimes the energy weapon skin overlay doesn't show up. An energy flak will look a normal flak though if I switch away and switch back it appears as an energy flak again. (I had only one flak so it's not like I had an energy and a plain one.)

As for others not spawning with an MP5, I have NOT had this happen.

One thing which happened only once is when I picked up a map's double damage yet it did NOT activate. However there was a HUGE amp symbol on my hud which counted down from 999. :-O

There are lots of subtle improvements which aren't mentioned yet but are appreciated including bug fixes, graphics, and physics. :faroah:

It could be enough Wail to share with the admins and maybe even
the forums what to expect. It might help people in understanding
what you intended or thought when you implement a change. I don't
believe sharing your changes at the time of the change is to much
to ask. You can not expect everyone to understand or accept all
of your changes. I'm sure most of us like many changes and dont care
for some, that's life. We always look forward to your updates,but find
it disconcerting not knowing what to expect, and yes we take the heat
in the servers before you even know there is a problem. Its not easy for
us either, having to say I don't have a clue what he just did.

You should tell these players to set a keybind for every weapon.
Scrolling takes too long ;)

Well Cheap, this particular update was not intended to have many real visible changes for players. The issue that's causing the MP5 thing, which is the main complaint I'm hearing, is something that's quite simply a bug fix that didn't pan out. The Triple weapon change is another thing which I thought most people would like, but we can go back to the other way, I really don't care.

As for trying to pin blame on me for not communicating I'm pretty sure I sent a detailed changelog to Wraith and also passed along a brief summary indicating the basic changes that are actually relevant to gameplay for most players. The 109 changelog has been up since May 7th, which is 2 weeks before we actually had an update to the server that stuck.* Updates for incremental changes (even though these mostly just bug fixes or minor things) have also been going up before any new versions are even sent out. And I just spent a couple of hours going over my changelog and updating it just for you -- I suppose you are happier that I'm documenting minutiae instead of spending few spare hours of free time tonight trying to fix the MP5 issue.

Edit: Just a note here, click the star on the changelog page and you can receive an email every time the page is updated.

*Edit again: We also did a test on the test server IIRC. I'm sure I specifically mentioned the change to allow Triple with everything at that time.

Well Wail, I don't believe I was placing blame anywhere except for the
concept play with 1 thing and something else[typically]not
associated with the first will break. This just happens and you
nor anyone else can for see what will happen as has been proven by many.
We can only judge by what is available. Guess I will have to ask
Wraith what The 109 changelog is and if the information can be shared
with the admins. Maybe more testing in a real environment is needed now that we have a test server again. Thanks for the information Wail
knowing what changes there are may help in knowing what to watch for.

My Awareness is acting weird.
I cant get the circular awareness and cant see the health amount anymore. I have it maxed.
Havent spoken anyone else with it so it could just be me
Just wanted to let everyone know.
Hope someone else can confirm this.

Confirmed. Wraith just sent me an email telling me that he would be doing an update to the server today during his lunch CST, so please be patient.

After the update, there are two options:

A. Either you're using circle style again, and everything is good
B. You're still seeing the bar style, but it at least looks marginally better.

If B, try changing your settings in the DWInvasion menu. If you don't notice a change immediately wait until your next respawn. Everything should be all good.

If C, make a post here.

Just 1 small question wasnt the resupply before 8 bullets per second? its 7 now. I can remember it being 7 for a time but also 8 for a while not sure which one it was before the update. Probably just 7 :P and im being paranoid :p

I am spawning with a mp5 but its non magical. Happened to me everytime so far and other WM's had the same problem.

Great job on all the fixes!
The Resupply calculation works on a percentage of the weapon's base ammo. 7 is the correct amount of bullets to be regenerating based on the predefined amount of ammo used in the MP5.

The MP5 mutator also allows configuration as to how much ammo it has by default, so awhile back Wraith increased it by about 15 which boosted Resupply for Resupply 4 players to 8.

There are a couple of steps here on the code side that I won't bore you with, but the end result is that when Wraith put up the update to the server today, there was also a new version of the MP5 mutator included with that, so whatever he may have had the base ammo set as was not carried over to the new version, although he will probably update that when it's possible. I know he is going on vacation shortly but I am not sure if he will be making updates tonight. You may have to wait for him to get back from vacation.
