sight.... I give up, it's like talking chinese to a wall... nobody understand this simple fact : You're a medic, fine assume you're role, and it's not supposed to kill more then a Weapon Master or an Adrenaline Master, it is suppose to support the team and kill less, you want to kill more be a AM or WM, this is how this game was design first and now it's just lame... lame as hell.

Fine you win I'm out of the servers it has become to unbalanced and too stupid.

If you think that the design of the game is such that one class should always be weak and unable to participate in the core gameplay of Invasion (killing monsters) as well as the other classes, I'm not going to be able to convince you otherwise. I don't subscribe to that opinion either.

I'm curious how you arrived at the idea that Medics should always be weaker than other classes. I don't recall ever reading anything which states that was supposed to be the case. In fact, on Disastrous Consequences Medics are generally considered the most powerful class -- It's only because MM runs with settings that are higher than intended (higher WS, DB, DR, Max Ammo, Adren, and PPL) that WM and AM, in addition to maps that are specifically designed to power up the AM class, that the supposed "balance" (ie, the imbalance) you are talking about arises.

I guess I probably sound like a broken record but it's amusing to me to see how people are completely willing to accept all kinds of distortions from the "intended game balance" (usually so long as they benefit them) - but get bent out of shape about others.

It's just too much drama...Leaving a game you've been building characters on, and suddenly stopping outta no where over some silly artifact?? :\

^ thats exactly what i was talking about.
if you gave WM's 500 more levels of vampirism making them laugh at how much of a joke the globe is...for franky to spend his thousands of saved up points on, we wont hear "it's ridiculous that we have soooo much vamp and medics and adren dont have anything" out of him.

I gotta agree with Nightmorph, Cheap n Jinx. Its about time medics were able to use something decent that gives them the chance to actually be able to play and kill things instead of hiding in a corner healing people for near enough no xp. Franky i dont see how you can complain about this when you have never even played a medic character ON DW SERVERS not any other servers not any "old school" servers DW SERVERS, to me it makes all of your arguments totally baseless and unfounded.

i've been here all this time, until i recently decided "hey let me look at the DW website"
and it wasn't there anymore, cause it was moved, and i found it now, and i had to make a new account cause i dont remember my old password and such, but look at frank's arguement, like rocketqueen said, he's never played a medic...and he's making himself the center of attention by demanding the changes be made or he'll never play on this server again, im just pointing things out the way theyre are being pointed out, im not getting personal, im not one to get worked up about video games and or people online

IMHO The enhanced weapon charm should only be usable 1 time on medic weapons. I have watched several medics at low level earn top scores and surpass others in game. now its to the point where the higher level medics are killing so much the other players cant earn exp. much less kills. Im not even gonna try to blame the MP5. the issue is medics already by default have a +4-+5 weapon without the charm and are enhancing it +4 more making it +9. I can come close as a AM with the double magic enhancer but that runs off adren. My suggestion is to give them something that works like that. I mean im not going to point fingers. Or claim cheats. Bacon has gone from normal im gonna die player in less than a week he is indestructable. All because he uses Enhanced Weapon Charm to make his mp5 +9. I know not many people looked at the original code for ut2004rpg to know medic weapons are already +4 or +5. but, Im sure you see where im coming from. and yes I do play medic and a am. and Im not really pitching a bitch. I would just like to be able to make a score from time to time. Not watch a level 150 medic own a map cause the monsters cant kill him even when he is the last alive.
