They did it to sell out and become rich and famous to take care of their families, their kids, and to get out of the hood. Can't blame them for that. That is were I say "it doesn't concern us." As long as they write good music, they are cool by me. My friends would side with you though for sure, they are like that and I don't understand it myself. I can argue with them until I am blue in the face and we would all end up physically kicking the shit out of each other before ever coming to an agreement or seeing eye to eye so they're useless. They play in a band and they never will make it because of that attitude, that is what's ironic about their situation but I see nothing wrong with being successful. In essence, that is what you're saying. If they're successful and are famous and do what famous people must do by the industries standards, well then they are sell outs. Retarded! They are laughing all the way to the bank and could give two shits what any of us think and I would do the exact same thing. Wouldn't you?

EDIT: No but seriously, I understand you way of thinking but you must admit that the public need only be concerned with rather the music appeals to them and not the person behind the music.
