ok the intro sound (bitrate 705kb, wav file, 22050, mono).
I can hear it a bit. I set volume to max, but the sound is not getting louder.
I´m wondering the other sounds in sound browser are much louder then my own one  .

You have to make the sounds annoyingly loud in Windows for them to be moderately loud in UT.

The loudest I could get the sound files to play through maps is to have an actor play the sound with the following properties:
bFullVolume: true
Radius: 934573468973
Volume: 255 (that's the cap)
Then you could duplicate the actor a few times, but then the sound files may not be synchronized, leaving a neat echo.
It's really tough to compete sound volume when the monsters are active since the teleporting queens and raptor screams buries any ambient sound.

Thank you all for help,
found a great solution :sgiggle: , i download a programm that u can make sound and music for Ut 2004.
The programm is called Audacity 1.3 beta  .
I put volume +24 db and guess what its very loud now  .
Now the sound is much louder then before :ssmile: .
I make some changes in waves, because it´s boring to have a empty center room.

Maps like this one provides the game a good reason to rate it M for mature. Very gruesome >:)
I'll like to see this on the server, but the sound events are just too distorted. On these speakers I can't even tell what is going on. Can you clean up the sound files??

Apo, a bloody good job! ::evil grin::
Now your map is beginning to live up to its name!
I agree with Ant..the sound files are too loud and distorted...and I don't usually have that stuff turned up very much in the first place. Possibly your master file wasn't the best quality or somewhere in the process of importing/converting it's gotten pumped up too much....very hard to tell what's being said.

I tried out your map for 6 waves long, but those damn doors didn't open :(
I'm guessing that 4 people have to stand on those black things on the field for the doors to open.. Am I right here, or do they just open at later waves?

They work well. If you want to see if they open try typing in the command console
causeevent invwave#
Replace # with a real number to its respective wave number.

Hey all  ,
thanks for loving the new version of map :swink: .
The problem with the sound , i found same sound and its better, louder and clearly. I put new sound in and erase the old one. Update is coming soon (in few hours).
@Julian:
Julian you must select one of the black doors in sudoku room and jump on it. The door will automatically open and if you are lucky you will teleport to save room.
