Oh that is very simple. My thinking is twisted evil sometimes. :P But those are not the monsters I had in mind. ;-) Its these guys (Raptors, Spinosaurus, Adv. Seekers, Adv. Waillords, Rainbows Queens, Mini Queens, Stone Titans, Volcanic Slith, and Ghost Nalis)
This is what made me think of it.
Raptors - Fast and capable of killing in one bite.
Spinosaurus - This one has proven to be very deadly. As its fireballs can be unpredictable at times. Caution is needed around walls and closed areas.
Adv. Seekers - Capable of pulling players out into the open. Even its attacks can snip someone from a distance. Many don't see it coming until to late.
Adv. Waillords - Both the Advanced Rocket WailLord and Advanced Energy WailLord are a adrenaline masters worst nightmare. Also immune to vorp.
Rainbows Queens - Hardest to kill out of all queens. Firing a different verity of attacks makes them the deadliest of their kind.
Stone Titans - A large bolder can knock someone out in one hit. Globers become pin ping balls around them. And occasionally a rock will knock a raptor into someone. Almost the perfect tag team.
Mini Queens - Not that strong. But have known to go into areas many monsters can not.
Volcanic Slith - Immune against doubles and triples. And upon death, they let out a deadly explosion.
Ghost Nalis - Just like the mini. They can teleport into small areas and can also regenerate heath.
A wave of death!
Many players like my self would like this challenge. But also taking into consideration there are many players of different levels. So I do agree this will need to be carefully planned.
But only time will tell as its in Wail's hands.
Death Wave - Insane Idea
To most AMs, a wave with raptors and rock titans are just moving bags of exp. Especially if they have an Energy Link and good aim with it. Spindos, and Rainbow Queens it seems, like to dodge your flaks which make it quite frustrating globe on them. But that's solved if you have a petri mini/mp5.
The only real challenges for the AMs would be the wailords, seekers, and volcanic sliths. All the other monsters will be pwned if you have speed switcher, petri, and energy.
I'm really concerned with this layup because it'll be way too easy for globers. All they need is a petri to hold the monsters in place while their energy and vorpal shreds them to pieces. The wave setup should be more fair to hardcore players who rambo with retaliation, medic, inf, vamp, or piercing because I feel that its really unfair when I'm AM and find that level 250 WMs or MMs die before me. C'mon. It takes like a year to get a level 200+ WM while it only took me 2 or 4 months getting my 100+ AM who is just a beast. Make the monster setups more fair to hardcore WMs and Medics.

It take me 2 months to get my WMs on server 1 to level 200, same for the one in server 2. 1 year!?... C'mon that's way over exagerated.@nt wrote:C'mon. It takes like a year to get a level 200+ WM...
WM are the class with the most highest chance of survival upon any other classes. If you die on your WM more often then on your AM then it mean you don't know how to correctly handle WM true power and potentiel. I die way more often on my AM them on my WM and all my WMs and AMs are both completly maxed on both servers. The thruth is, AMs are more limited then WMs with the same lvl/weapons/artifact. If you havn't find that out yet, it is because you're not aware of what a WM can be thruly capable off.I feel that its really unfair when I'm AM and find that level 250 WMs or MMs die before me.

And whats to keep a Rainbow Queen from nulling you in place. While the chances of a Adv. Waillord popping you with a super change ion burst or a redeemer like explosion. There goes a good chunk of your adrenaline.@nt wrote:I'm really concerned with this layup because it'll be way too easy for globers. I personally despise the Rainbow Queens.
If you want, we can replace them with some dinosaur that will petrify you for about 16 seconds while teleporting you to random locations.
This dinosaur also happens to have 45k health that comes with a shield that only goes down for about 2 seconds. That should be a good enough challenge to make anyone puke.
I understand that you want a challenge, but making a challenge simply by increasing attributes is highly boring. That's all these Rainbow Queens are; they are simply juiced up in health, and they slap every possible negative inventory to the player.

Then that means I absolutely suck using WM. Right? :swondering:DW_FrankyTheFly wrote:It take me 2 months to get my WMs on server 1 to level 200, same for the one in server 2. 1 year!?... C'mon that's way over exagerated.@nt wrote:C'mon. It takes like a year to get a level 200+ WM...

And here I thought the PB&J Titans and Rainbows Queen were your favorite monsters. :PDW_Ant wrote:I personally despise the Rainbow Queens.
Some new dino in the works?DW_Ant wrote:If you want, we can replace them with some dinosaur that will petrify you for about 16 seconds while teleporting you to random locations.

I won't lie as I'm not a big fan of these Queens ether. But it’s because of their abilities is the reason I picked them for the Death Wave. Over time they do attend to get overwhelming as the number of Titans starts to decreases. But seeing as wave 15 (pneumonia) only has 4 monsters in it. That may not be the case in Death Wave as there are 9 different monsters. But then again this idea is untested, and MM has never seen anything like it before.DW_Ant wrote:I understand that you want a challenge, but making a challenge simply by increasing attributes is highly boring. Lucifers and the giant Guardian Drone from Industrial Complex (Giant Miniboss) would be great additions for the death wave.
