No. I was referring to professional gamers. These people show up to public events (LANs) and play for real money and prizes. I would like to say thanks to all who voted for Prime last night. I really enjoyed that. I think Frostbite would be a helluva lot of fun with this crowd too. I do miss playing the classics sometimes.

Again, given that he has attended lan events and performed just as well... I doubt it. He is also responsible for catching dozens of cheaters on a TAM server he admins.
In my experience, there is a considerable percentage of the UT community that seriously overestimates the prevalence of cheating. Are there cheaters? Yes. What is the actual percent of players cheating? I'd estimate about 1 to 2 percent. That is 1 in 100 to 1 in 50. I consider these numbers fairly accurate because they are based on actual data. Now, certain gametypes and servers will attract more cheaters than others (demo, ictf, tam, etc...), but that is another story...
There are even plenty of people who are convinced I never miss with the SSR or that I have some absurdly high hit rate like 80%. I dedicate the following video to them:

*Fraps does kill my framerate, so my accuracy isn't quite as good as normal... but I'd say it is still a pretty fair representation.
