Short info for gameplay :ssmile: .

- There will be no lamp, like in real Amnesia game (causes much FPS and slow gameplay).
- The candles and the torches will be on fire no need to enlightened them.
- There will be a music pack for this map.

More details later.

Music Pack 2

Are those the nesia ones or what? Someone said once there was a section or something on music packs(and complained it was all like crappy death metal or something LOL), I'm not sure how music packs work @_@

Many maps also have custom music which is played when you play the map. Most of the ME server maps have this additional music.

Since the maps also work without this additional music it is usually not included in the server download to keep the map files as small as possible.

The two links from wail are the music packs for all the ME maps currently on the server. (Not sure if there is MM music in the pack as well, but since I found some Portal music in there, I think MM is in there as well.)

For how they work:
1. download
2. extract the files into your UT2004/music folder
3. play the map

All the music can also be found on the wiki:

you can pull the music back out of the music folder and its back to without it right? i may play around with it, are the music packs actual songs or just like instrumental stuff? if theyre songs could we get a list of whats on each pack xP

It is more music from movies or shooter games.

It is all .ogg so you can listen to it in any mp3 player before you add it.

And yes, you can delete it any time and its gone again, problem is you will have to identify them all in your music folder^^

As Asmodan says, they are just .ogg music files. For what it's worth, all of the music that I have personally put up there is made freely available from other sources. For instance, the Portal 2 music is freely available from http://www.thinkwithportals.com/music.php. There's another thread on these forums (do a search for it) where I try to post whenever I come across some cool free music. The only thing I have done with these tracks is to convert them to .ogg (if they were in another format) and standardize their filenames to ARTIST - Track Number - Track Name.

Another thing to note, you can put any song you like in the music folder. If you're sick of hearing Level6.ogg, you can take any .ogg music file, rename it to Level6.ogg, and stick it into your UT2004/Music folder as Level6.ogg. I recommend doing this for NanoClean.
