I still don't understand your problem.
If you don't have the maps installed in mapdirectory, you can't play them offline.
If they are no longer in UT-cache, u have download them.
Sent you a link for Oppurtunity Knocks, download it, decompress with UT2004MI
and try to play

ps2: it is highly advise-able to empty your cache, even if its a game's cache (unless your internet connection can not withstand frequent dl's of large amounts of data....)
it is a request from DW to keep servertraffic low, so i do as requested

using plain english....
1. maps I extracted off cache using UT2004Mi tool
2. maps I installed on directory "UT2004/maps"
3. maps shown on map-list in-game
so, where are all the rest maps ????

Do the missing maps show up, if you select plain assault as gametype?
Is the map directory inside the ut- gamedirectory?
pic 1. shows archives, did you install and zip, or just zip the files ?

NEGATIVE
høerb wrote:Is the map directory inside the ut- gamedirectory?
AFFIRMATIVE
GAME : "D:\Games\GOG.com\Unreal Tournament 2004"
MAPS : "D:\Games\GOG.com\Unreal Tournament 2004\Maps"
høerb wrote:pic 1. shows archives, did you install and zip, or just zip the files ?
AFFIRMATIVE
i run UT2004Mi tool, extracted off the
UT cache all map files in
zip format, then I placed them in a random folder, and used UT2004Mi tool to
install each map
ps: the file you have sent me (*.uz2) is
corrupt....i verified it twice....
so sent me the map in
zip or
ut2 format.....preferably
zip

you have to decompress the uz2 file with ut2004mi, i reloaded it and decompressed, no problem.
check the path of your ut2004.exe, is it linked to the proper installation-directory ?

that specific file doesnt work on my ut2004Mi tool....gives error....

:srofl: :srofl: :srofl: :srofl: :srofl: :srofl: stop making jokes man
ok, I installed two maps, Acatana and Wangara
both had only two files.... the map file (ut2) and a texture file
i copy-> paste them manually into maps folder, they work...didnt even bother using UT2004Mi tool
other maps have like 5-6 files.....and they dont work no matter what I do...even if I use UT2004Mi tool
so, I know whats going on... you have to sent me all maps (the latest versions into zip files) can you do that? ???? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ? ?

ps2: maps have only kralls, skarj, rocket-lords ?? damn
ps3: my opportunity knocks version has "jellyfish"
