Wow lots of changes going on here, good suggestions so far guys.
Just a thought about the load in the server... there is all that secret stuff behind the two bases which I dont think anyone ever uses ?
Im no mapper so I dont know how this will affect the map but surely the moving parts and the sheild down there causes extra load on the server cant we just cut that bit out of the map all together ?

-- Well I don't know when It could be on the server or if Toxic is going to add it as it is now .. looks like theres no more to it .. so .. mm what secret things that no one ever uses behind the bases are these you talk about .. kae. ----?----

I think that we are talking about two different Dreamus maps. I believe that alpha is working on Dreamus 1. K is talking about Dreamus 2.
Dreamus 2 has some secret passage ways which have a tunnel with some movers in them. They actually should not impact the performance much, if any. The areas should be in different zones. So, if there were actually more people using the tunnels, it would probably reduce the load.

-- oh Yes sir.. Dreamus 2 has those 'secret' paths to the middle node from the base power nodes.. That's why i was confused.. :) - Kaeolian this whole thing is just about The regular ol' Dreamus .. :cheese:

-Removed 1 miniheath pickup from node 7 and 8
-Removed the supershield pikup at 8
And im thinking to maybe remove either the Flack or the Shock Rifle from nodes 7 and 8 and ADD it to the far nodes from the center close to where the primary nodes are , you know the ones that got just bio rifle and minigun - if so the minigun from there will be removed and replaced with again ... either the shock or the flack from 7 and 8 -
I would say the flack because that will take the flack spam more to the middle node - 6 - and cut if off somehow at the end of the match when it use to get laggy since there only will be rockets - shock - mini - and linkgun available from that point on.. and if you want flack you have to walk a little to grab it from those far nodes! .. what you think? ..
BTW here are some Screen shots of the FPS i got right now UNder the Same conditions and same possition ( standing at middle node facing at both bases ) --

What do you have the detail set to? I usually don't notice those lines in the rocket or grenade launcher... and what's the resolution set to?

-- Everything is on High- Res = 1024 by whatever .. this screen shots are rezized to 800 by whatever .. and compressed into jpg format --my desktop Res = 1152 by whatever

- ok playing and looking at the bots looks like it doesnt work .. so the flack goes to the middle node and those far nodes - the nodes in between will have granades instead of flack and shock as usual .. that seems to work more eficiently .. I guess theres no more to it . its just perfectly balanced on my POV .. --
So the results here ::
Mines - Only at node 6 and theres 4 for each player
Shock Rifle - At nodes 7 and 8 with the same mount of ammo
Flack Cannon - At node 6 and the lonely weapon lockers near to the primary nodes - 15 for each player since thats the minimun -
Rocket Launcher - At the Bases and weapon locker between 7 and 8 , 12 for each player -
Link Gun - At all Weapon lockers - Increased ammo on primari nodes
Redemer - Gone
Ion painter - At node 6 , edge of the map in a small hill
Granades - At node 7 and 8 and Bases
Bio Rifle - At Bases and the far lonely weapon lockers
Minigun - At primari nodes and 6
Avril - At Bases , at 6 and Primary nodes
Sniper Rifles - Replaced by LG and only at Bases
- I believe thats about with weapons vehicles stay the same but 1 more scorp for each base , node setup stays forever and well .. all other changes you might notice in the game -

:cheers: I like the map. Really like the mounds in front of the cores, protects and also requires more manuvering around by enemy mantas looking to spawn kill. Nice Job!
