Bad idea in my opinion. Alot of the time you can see a map decided within the first minute or two, when one team gets a better start and manages to roll that advantage downhill the entire game. I'm not fond of the idea that you basically only play one round on a map... Sometimes you just really want another shot at it (or, on asymmetrical maps, you want the other side) with the teams as they are to see if you can pull out a win.

Ten minutes seems a little short to me. I'd probably not put it under 15, though it's just my opinion.

And again, if I put it to 15, you potentially get 5 rounds * 15 mintes + 2 minutes for overtime each time = 85 minutes. Are people going to stand for that? If there's a map running on the server that I don't like, I really don't want to wait an hour and a half for it to finish.
The more I write in here, the more I think I need goalscore by map. But keep throwing stuff out there. I like hearing the ideas and discussion.

Pomona made this suggestion awhile back, imo it was too harsh. Basically get the game time to ~1 minute and get into OT every round. 2pt goal score would allow for a max of 3 rounds to be played. I think he was on the right track there, his time was just way too low to be feasible. Maybe we should try something similar with 5-6 min rounds and a smaller core drain. We should shoot for about 11 min per round if the core goes unmolested.

This is definitely a thinking outside the box idea. But I'm afraid this will confuse people too much, to the point where they won't want to play here.
I can see it now:
"Overtime, WTF we just started"
"This server is f*cked up!"

I still don't see why it is not possibel to set a game win point of 1. That is 1 point for a win regardless of if it is in OT or regular time .
Then set game point to 2. Giving the maximum amount of games played to three , most will be played twice.
Utcomp is capable of this , maybe we should just run it .

1) this is unpossible
2) UTcomp is not a white listed mutator.

why unpossible , how does ut comp do it . Or if you did it like UT comp it would get you off the white list ?! Maybe we need to go have a talk with the whities .
