What monsters are you referring to Wail.
The 1 titan we can spawn or the monsters that dies after 2 waves from a charm
or the 1 warlord or the 1 queen we can spawn.

Am I missing something, We spend a lot to spawn what you say is our meat and potatos,
Is that why most medics wont bother with buying monsters anymore?
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Emerson

I'm talking about points costs. Medics pay something like 400 points to max out the Monster line, which will probably last you into the 200-300 range.

As for their usefulness? Maybe you need to ask Wraith to beef them up. They didn't always used to be as weak as they are now.

Yeah but in all fairness to the monsters being weaker...when a medic was able to spawn monsters at level 150 and not go out but lead the leader board because his monsters killed more than the players that was/is a little too powerful. I know there is a happy medium in there somewhere people. Wraith, Wail, Bio, and all the other contributors thanks for doing what you do and making the gameplay fun and interesting.

The server has gone through numerous updates and continues to do so, thank you all I know I have not been seen in the server as much lately but RL is what happens. I still enjoy the occasional mashing and I try to play when I can.

I have been nursing a medic along now for these past couple of years and I must say that they are rather bland after level 150. It is a different mind set to play them and I just don't have it, I guess. I suppose what I am trying to say is they need something but then again I think the entire game needs something. Maybe I will reinstall UT3 and see how it goes with the monsters on it. Seems we may need an updating, that only the new engine can provide.

it's a glitch? GODDDDAMMMITTT!!! I was enjoying not running outta vorpal like *that* bang and the ammo is gone. Couldn't you make it so that maybe you need 10 MAB for lvl 1 etc?

Brain brought up some very good points. After much thought.. I would have to say yes. However some other things should be looked into. My meat and potatoes aren't very appetizing right now, and a lot of them were taken away.

Is there any reason why all classes can't have the same resupply ability? If medics had resupply level 4, would that upset whatever balance is trying to be offered? Would it make them too powerful? Would they be less likely actually to be a medic and just play the medic class because of its other advantages (e.g. advanced damage reduction)?

Yea, many people are predicting that if the meds have max resupply, then they'll be playing that class as a norm wm/am class. As a result of this, there will be fewer and fewer people that will actually heal. You barely get xp from xp healing ability so I presume they'll prefer to shoot monsters rather than players in need.

Having the resupply at lvl one or two will force medics to switch to their med weapon after losing the ammo since it's gonna take a wave or two to be able to use it again.
The difference between successful people from others is
not in the lack of strength,
not in the lack of knowledge,
but rather in the lack of will.

I might be the lone voice crying out in the wilderness here..but I think healing should be the meat and potatoes for a medic. Up the exp gained from healing and I think you'll see a lot more team play and more medics going out and healing people up.

When I first started out this medic character all I pretty much did was run around healing my team mates. I did it because it was fun and (yes I admit it) I did it to help people out by keeping them alive. There's nothing more thrilling for me as a medic to put my life on the line trying to heal someone up or take a rock for them...and no better comment made than to hear someone say I was a "good" medic.

I must admit that as I got to a higher level I did succumb to the temptation to go out and "dance" with the monsters like an am or wm and also to let my monsters loose to try and soak up some free exp...but I digress. <shuffle>

I remember I used to play on this one server where you could save up and train to gain an ability where you could transform and play as one of the monsters. That might be something to look into as it will add some more diversity of things for people to spend their points on at higher level. I don't suggest it go as far as when in the old days the highest scoring player turned into luci, but if the truth be told..it was fun being luci and getting a chance to PK your fellow teammates.

I think the exp healing should be drstically increased. I'm a lvl >75 (not been on for a week and forgot lol) medic and exp healing does almost nothing. There's NO incentive to heal except keeping ur team alive. Then all the medics forget other ppl and go jumping with their adv dr. Sorry, but to me that defeats the object of calling it a MEDIC why not call it a ARMOR PLATED GUY WITH SUPER INF GUN??? (sarky jk)
