We could do that , or you could just host them on filefront , save us alittle BW and link people to them .

Thats interesting but after thinking about it to much work for to little joy . It would be cool though . Although that link did lead me to the clock that can be build to display on O-scope that one I may think about .

Oh and BattleZone , forgot about that one also , spent alot of time behind that game.

Also Asteroids . You wern't stuck in the middle , you could fly around out one side of the screen and back in , maybe you just didn't know how to thrust :clown:

No, I know how to thrust and do the hyperspace thing but they didn't start doing that until later games of asteroid I thought. I know Computer Space was like that without the asteroids floating around but it was buggy at the time. I'm not sure, it was all so long ago. I thought the first asteroid game the little space ship thingy just sat in the center but maybe it did fly around... Speaking of asteroids, our arcade thingy doesn't save your score. I got 18,000 on it just a little while ago and it didn't save it. My personal best on python Asteroids is 38050 but it doesn't save high scores either but I plan to add some code so it will store time and date with your high score and initials and whatever else. You can find it at the following link. Install python first and you can use IDLE that comes with python to look at the code. It is pretty neat.

the game is here:
Pythentic Asteroids

Get Python here: (get 2.6.2 windows installer, it does everything for you)
Python 2.6.2 installer

I'm not sure if this game uses the Pygame module but in case it does, here it is. Plus Pygame is good to have for anyone whom makes games because it contains a bunch of game related code already put together:(Again, download the installer, it is much better. Download pygame 1.9.1 win32 py2.6 msi. it doesn't matter if you got python for 64 bit, 32 bit will work fine)
Pygame 1.9.1 Win32 Py2.6.x MSI

And yes, I will see if I can't join filefront or something like it to offer my roms and emulators.

Okay, Here are some links to some sweet classics. The first is the best Commodore 64 emulator followed by a few games and the last is Tandy's DoD game:

By the way, if you actually download these games, I can only assume you purchased and owned a C64 and the games at one time and want to relive you youth. A little cover my ass type stuff there...

LOL, it's cool. I play it again and see if I can beat my old score.

I did beat my old score and it let me save it but then I tried playing Lunar Lander and it didn't even show my score let alone save it but I think it attempted something but it just brought me back to the homepage. I'm not sure what happened but it is cool that you got some classic arcade games on here. I like it a lot!

No one seems to have mentioned this yet so I figure I'll toss it out there.

Star Control (1 & 2) was an awesome series of games.
I remember when I initially played these games I thought it was just a simple ship battle arena type game (nothing wrong with that, I had many hours of fun playing games like that in early computing days)... That's actually a game mode but the story mode is incredible.

You can play Star Control 2 under the name "The Ur Quan Masters" here: http://sc2.sourceforge.net/
It's intense.
