Oh, your the last player and you got killed by a PM which ended the game... Well, that sucks, but oh well? No one should be punished for this, EVER. There should never be a kick vote for player monster activities, unless for example your blocking hostile monsters for the players, which is against the rules.

Secondly, i for one, damn well don't want to wait for a RES. I will always be a hostile player monsters unless i state otherwise, which rarely happens because i want to play, and quite frankly i could care less what people think of it because I don't spend much time playing, and could use that XP a lot more then those higher ranks so i could enjoy those high levels as well.

Thirdly, 90% of the time, player monsters are hardly a concern. I see more complaining about a single individual being a PM or dedicated (which is HARDLY a problem MOST of the time, then i do when half the team is constantly playing as a hostile PM while dead.)

Player monsters are part of the Evo environment, they more then likely will never go anywhere, deal with it folks. lol It isn't a big deal, i enjoy it, it adds to the gameplay, and balances out the action with both dead, and live players. You deal with problems in other games you buy, this is no exception. Ant cant cater to every problem you have, and in my opinion one nuisance fixed, will just lead to another one found by the community that will be complained about.

So to conclude this topic i've already spent too much time on, player monsters are fine, quit complaining because someone else wants to play and get back in, and you just happen to be his victim. I do beleive you can be a PM too? and get ur way back in if ur capable..

My only problem with PM's is, those douche bags (no names) who kick vote for being killed by one. It SHOULD be a ban-able offense for kick voting ANYONE for using a feature of the game in the way it is intended. End of story. All those who conduct such actions, should feel lucky you have such a kind admin running the server. Oh, and dedicated monsters suck, i would agree with anyone on that, but once its polished and balanced out more, even that is not a problem. Players MAKE it a problem by abusing it, or complaining because they simply find it a nuisance.

Think about it, i myself want to kill you even more for complaining about me being a player monsters, then i would if you were nice and didn't care about me being one.

Anyway, no hard feelings, i just don't like complaints and these are my thoughts. Especially with this whole kicking of players problem, I have no power but, anyone can see its just plain immature abuse of the system from some dickheads, that most people probably don't like most of the time..
Well said from top to bottom.

PMs are there for people to use it, that's fine, is done to kill the player alive, do it but the thing that I don't like is that people use as revenge and or to taunt people, like one time someone that posted here I'm not gonna say who, killed me and said OWNED there is not need of doing that you killed me you should be happy, also he was specting someone killed me everyone said gg that person Laughed and said gg Indeed, there is not need of taunting and make people upset
If we don't do what we love, no matter if we do it all day we will always be unoccupied...

Yeah that's the same thing as the stance with noobs to me, in terms of, Ant and others say "hey dont take it hard when you get killed by a PM" or "be nice to new people", but it's NOT like most players are being pricks for no reason, it's because there are PMs who do yell OWNED and stuff, and we played a game earlier where 2 PMs were refusing to attack a certain person and going after the rest, stuff like that is what gets hard feelings. New people that just outright refuse to read what people say and do their own thing are what make people hostile to them, not just the fact that they're new.

Oh, and a side note on FPMs, why aren't they all available to use? I was killed with like 100 points but when I selected HellKnight it said not available as FPM? FPMs are already weaker aren't they(I ended up being Gold Angus, but had like 82 or 92 health), so why restrict what you can be as well?

And could the radius be larger or something for spawning FPMs? I had an incredibly tough time becoming one, even when I opened up the menu and was waiting to click spawn as someone walked by my camera, it didn't pop up as being available to spawn. Since you can't spawn from spec'ing someone, you have to be your own camera, if the player is moving around, you're screwed, it's SO tough to spawn a FPM unless there's an idle player.

I personally think it's rude to taunt after a victory, but perhaps people do that to get inside their heads afterwards. I believe the attackers do the same when they slay or get killed by a pm.

But I can't do anything about the taunting. It comes naturally in most competitive games. From tea-bagging in Halo, to desensitizing over-used words in TAM. Taunting even happens in co-op games if two members are competing for high scores. You can find lots of bashing or some taunting in this thread because of scores. I'm sure there are times where you felt defeated if you were striving for first place but someone else got the better hand. I certainly did.

For one of these three reasons:
1. 0-score monsters shouldn't be a friendly player monster since they can distract enemy AI monsters (ie: Ghost Krall and Adv Nali Cows are excellent tankers). Also, the player shouldn't waste a friendly reclamation coin if they accidentally spawned as a 0-score monster.

2. The monster's high offense is too high for the amount of points required to spawn as it. This goes to the Sabaoth and Hell Knight. Their minimum points required to spawn as one is very low. They are there to give a low scoring dead player a good 1-time chance to resurrect themselves. They are not there to make one lucky player become a powerful friendly player monster.

3. The monster's damage is too great to be a friendly player monster.[/color]

Distance is approximately half as if you were spawning as a hostile player monster. I think part of the difficulty is that you actually have to be able to draw a line between your camera and the visible attacker. This prevents players from skipping sections of the map by spawning behind a wall or a locked door (since fpms could complete certain objectives).
The difference between successful people from others is
not in the lack of strength,
not in the lack of knowledge,
but rather in the lack of will.

Aren't the FPMs already reduced in health though? Would that not make up for the extra damage in the same way it does with skeletons having huge damage but die in a couple hits?

I agree with the line of sight kind of thing, but it's still pretty frustrating trying to spawn as a FPM when there's 1 person left on the map and they're constantly moving @_@

and I mentioned when we played Choco the other day another problem I've had a few times now, where when I try to spawn as a hostile PM, there is no point on the map far enough away, we were on Choco and everyone was in the room with the vehicles, and I was way back at the entry lobby to the facility, and it still said too close to player to be hostile PM

There was another map, not sure if it was Nocturne... something a bit enclosed like that though, can't recall which, but I was literally at the very furthest point possible on the map from the player and it still said too close to a surviving attacker

Very positive attitude indead. The only thing here is that I have the feeling I'm reading the chat of a TAM match or a TDM match. My point about monster player is not that I don't like them in GENERAL, it's that I don't like them in Monster Evolution. Let me give you an example: Everyone (or many people) love chocolate, I do love chocolate on Ice-cream or with my sugar pie, but I hate the taste of chocolate on my Hamburger or with my Spagetthi.... well that's exactly how i feel in ME with the monster player.
