Can someone PLEASE fix this:
At wave 16, when u'r tanking nude (globeless) and u ghost, luci keeps folliwing, so when you spawn, it kills you.
Then what use is there for the ghost ability, please make it that luci don't follow you after you ghost.
I brought a luci's hp down to 10k alone, so someone else could get the kill..

This one is also imbeded in RPG, Just because your a ghost does not mean the monsters can't track you. It is very similar to the alt fire of the deemer. If you alt fire the deemer and guide it, monsters have a greater chance of shooting it down becuase your awarness is guiding it.

Cant you add a 2-5 second spawn protection then?

Actually you should be getting spawn protection after ghosting. If you're not, that's something I'll look into a bit. It only works if you don't shoot though.
(Keep in mind that spawn protection is not 100% working even in basic UT gameplay.)

We never had spawn protection after ghosting. It's pretty much hopeless when you ghost next to a green raptor.

Its useful when u have a translocator parked somewhere safe.
And for spawning; whilst being stalked by fireballs, you can at least dodge a fireball or two, leaving enough time for you to jump away, or to get a globe running.

Yeah, at the same time I know I've seen it before. I don't know why it wouldn't happen every time, although the what you need to do to get spawn protection is kind of a terrible hack anyway.

I assume that it would not be worthwhile to implement your own spawn protection. I'm sure you would rather work on RPG enhancements instead of workarounds for UT's inherent glitches. :sbigsmile:

Well, no, but presumably the UT spawn protection would be a good enough option most of the time. Since it's apparently not, can always try something a little different.
