SLI is really gimmicky. The cost to performance ratio for that extra card sucks. Not to mention the extra dough on your electric bill. (Not that it is much, but you get the point.)

Yeah, I agree... I'm only thinking about the future and UT2007. If I need the card to run it maxed out on graphics etc. then I will invest. If not, then oh well.

Yeah, that is what my mother thinks as well. However, she is the one who gets in accidents, while I have never had one in 16 years (knock on wood).
