Medicare is a federally funded and administered program that provides health insurance for older Americans and those who are disabled. Individuals contribute to Medicare during their working years, just as they do to Social Security.
As far as Medicaide goes it's kind of a nice way of saying thanks for all your hard work. Oh but wait who needs the 77 year old woman she outlived her usefulness so lets just put her down. Love you mom but the government says its time for you to checkout so thanks for everything rememeber we love you now rest in peace.

Government run health care is what you are against though ? It has to be an evil plot to take over old people and convert them to socialist is it not .

Thats just a GREAT IDEA don't you think!!!!!
Where did that come from? Thats what all the yoo-hoo's are saying will happen if the government expands this system . Thats what we would be saying if we did away with it .
So no thanks for all the hard working americans unless they get lucky enough to reach old age and then we get the system everyone is so scared of .
Also handout are fine if your old ? Why didn't she just work harder and save more so she could take care of herself in her old age .

Done and done. Sell off everything non-essential and you'll get through just fine. But what do you do the 4th month? How about the 36th month?
I'm fine with driving to customer's sites while puking into a paper cup as I drive. No problem whatsoever. I'll bring a zip-lock bag with me in case there's no nearby bathroom to duck into while the server I'm working on reboots... but for some reason my employer didn't think it reflected well on the company, apparently.

Damaged uuum to me all you have done is quite clearly prove that you have never been in the situation where you have had to shovel shit to get by. Some people are that friggin ill that they cant get off their ass to go and work to get money to help themselves you seem to just be calling every person without insurance lazy and unwilling to get off their ass and get a job...... Oh and if you really think that any of your ideas on how people can get help without health insurance would actually work you are seriously deluded and have clearly never had to do that yourself. 99% of the time any pharmaceutical company would turn round and laugh at you, why the hell would they give a flying shit about one single person when all they care about is making money which is blatantly obvious as they charge such ridiculous prices in the first place............... Yeah shame on everyone who spends 20 bucks on something that takes their mind off the fact they are agony and can’t get any help what-so-ever, get a freaking grip it is the only way some people manage to get through the freaking day again you clearly have no idea what that is like. Oh and you don’t take hand outs soooo uuum what are you taking from your work since they pay for your insurance? After all you’re ranting and blah blah blah you don’t even pay for your own freaking insurance lmao that cracks me up. All you have done is contradict yourself and show how hypocritical your ideas are.
Once again , your for Medicare , against government sponsored health care , being as that it is an entitlement? Your previous statement was pointing to the fact that you think I was directing we do away with it . Why if I'm paying into it can I not reap the benefits of it now? Rather then feed the coffers of big insurance agencies looking at going to a 30% plus profit for every dollar taken in .
So, you're sure your employer pays for some or most of your medical insurance out of the kindness of their heart, or is it *Gasp* GOVERNMENT MANDATED that they offer it to you?
Trust me, if your employer was small enough to legally be able to get away with giving you squat for healthcare... they would. Lucky for you, the government's got your back.
So government-mandated helathcare is not the answer, and we should rely on individual citizens doing their part to help their fellow man. How much have you contributed to the Uninsured Americans' Fund this year? Oh, no such fund exists? Maybe some governing body (not the government mind you) will come along someday and assemble such a fund, so that all the people who are doing well can help out the less fortunate.
Or maybe some entity could setup a system to where they'll help you out when you're unable to do so yourself, and then you can pay back into the system when you ARE healthy enough to work.

Obviously you have no clue Rocket and you know what that doesn't surprise me at all.

Fry my wife and I donate $1000 a year to the VA so please don't assume I don't contribute to anyone.
