Are you wanting to make a map from scratch? or edit one that has been made already but just needs to be invasionized?

I know what you mean, sometimes its hard to think of what to do. What you can do is take an existing map, and start changing the whole thing. Thats how divided map came about. I was only going to fix some things in bitchslap, and when I rebuilt it, all the walls turned black, so I started putting new textures on the walls, and then just started changing things around and rearranging the halls and it went from bitchslap to what is now called divided.

I had an idea for an invasion map that I thought would be pretty cool, but I was never able to get it to work. I tried to make a map where you and the monsters would just fall forever, but I ran into lots of problems. Monsters don't do anything until they've touched solid ground once. I guess making a room where all the monsters spawn and then teleport out of would work, but I never thought about it at the time. Wall dodging while falling at a high rate of speed was a problem too.

So, just come up with an idea for a map that hasn't been done, and then make it work.

Yes, but why would that help anything? It's a moot point anyway, I deleted the map well over a year ago and started coding new mods instead.

for your falling forever map idea, just need to have low gravity, and to compensate for dodging maybe somehow, dont know if possible, just have that map full airmaster control. and also why not just have a bunch of teleporters at the bottom of the map to teleport back to the top? im not a mapper so i dont know if it is possible but just an idea if you havent thought of it already.

I had an Idea for a map a long time ago originaly for a ONS map, two bases at either end of the map basicly the entire map is symetrical, but one side would be really normal sunny etc but when you cross then central deviding line of the map the other side of the map would be all dark with lava etc sort of a heaven and hell theme for want of a better description....
