Perhaps the password needs to be changed and only given out to those who ask for it through the forums? Or is this a problem that follows you around like an annoying little brother?
For the most part, I mute those who come in and that I've never heard of before. My intention is not to offend anyone, but just to protect my own ears. But what happened last night with "raptor" was weird... I muted him the minute he stepped in, and it STILL blared some static nonsense.
Nonetheless, it's still good to know some people use Vent for appropriate, fun purposes. We should check the Ventrilo website and see if other people are having the same problem, and if what they plan to do about it.

Found this after Google'ing "Ventrilo Harassment":
Vent Harassment
Some of the comments made may be of use to the Vent server, such as "assign an id and password to each user and don't allow anonymous users."
Of course, a lot of the comments are just garbage, but you take the good with the bad.
Not sure how you'd go about doing that, but only allowing certain people in, and keeping everyone else out seems to be the only way to keep the punks out of the server.
Have to see what happens from here.
