Map preview/description

Is there a reason for the maps not having previews or descriptions - bandwidth perhaps? because im pretty sure they'd make a good addition - possibly a rating in the description for the difficulty of the map? Would be nice to find all the fast tempo difficult maps easier ;)

On the map voting you can right click the maps to see a map preview and description, currently there's no information...thought it would be good to have some considering the large number of maps.

I didnt know that at all!
I only thought ut2 vote made use of map previews, or did you mean something else?

Honestly, I don't think it's worth the effort simply because it usually takes me 75% of the voting period to even find the map I want to vote for (if any). I'd never have time to look at descriptions and compare and contrast, or any of that.

The real problem is that you would have to open each map and then embed an image (usually an in-map snapshot) & a description into each one, Tee-dee-ous! :banghead:
