Good lord, how am I going to manage this? I was almost hoping 64 players was out (as was the rumour).
Seriously, this could take 5-6Mb and a quad core just for one server. OUCH!

Here is hoping they cleaned up the netcode some.
I have a feeling that if 64 is going to run you will need some large segmented maps.

It was also stated that the best game play was between 16-24 players , just because u can load up a bunch more people doesn't mean you should.

True, but Epic said 16 was the sweet spot for UT2k4. In fact, they did not think 32p was even possible, nor did they wholeheartedly support it.
And you know how the public will react. There were plenty of 20p and 24p servers out there. How many do you hear about now?
We'll figure it out. I'm already planning on two physical servers.

Last I heard, servers in UT3 may be able to go up to 64p. Talk about pain, and carnage...

Last I heard the sky was the limit , he said in the interveiw there was no set limit , atleast at present time .
