I may be wrong, but I believe Toxic mentioned that the donate meter is not working properly at the moment. So there may be some donations coming in.

The meter is broken at the moment. I know that for a fact, and I know there have been donations made. Other than that, there's not much more I can add.

Thanks for the suggestions, and yes. The donate-o-meter is broken. I have gotten donations, and I'd like to thank those who have made donations. It's not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but it really means a lot to me, and every little bit helps. Basically, every dollar I get from donations is another dollar I can put away towards hardware for UT2K7.

I have seen other clans doing this type of thing. I cannot subscribe to this. Even a few of my own clan members have inquired about this posssiblity, and I had to refuse.

It goes against what the server is here for. Anyone can connect to it and have as many gg's as they'd like to play. And just becuase someone gave me $10, doesn't mean they should get kicked.

As for adding slots above and beyond, well that's just not possible. We're at 32 now.

But I appreciate you thinking of ways to help support the server. If you don't have a few bucks, then the best way to help me out is to bring people here. The more people, the more chance I will find that gaming millionaire who loves Dreamus and wants to sponsor us :compress:

I'm working on becoming a millionaire... Not even close yet - but I've got my plans made and now it's a matter of raising the capital, proper time management (which means decreasing playing time), and doing the execution. I tend to have a pretty good memory - and I've enjoyed playing on your server quite a bit. With that being said, when (not if - but when) I've made it big, I would certainly consider sponsorship. It will take me a number of years to get there - but keep me in mind. I'm a little guy now... but that will change. If DW is still around in a number of years, when I've made it big - and still has the same philosophy and friendly feel - ask me then.
