It's nice to see they notice gametypes that are still active.

At a guess i'm gonna say they've added a game with the intention of allowing people to mod it for monster invasion. The core code will be there however they will have focused on the gameplay less than other types. (just as they did in 04 - vanilla invasion sucked lol)

Still, It means it will be in the server browser. Which means people will still be able to find it.
