So, with "Black Friday" upon us, there will be a lot of solid tech deals. Instead a bunch of independent posts, I thought we could keep all the BF ads in here since most of them are B&M only deals.

A great site for the info is:

http://bfads.net/

**The first deal i noticed was with Best Buy. There is a Seagate 320GB SATA2 internal hard drive for $59.99 after instant rebate.

The same ad has The Orange Box & Bioshock for PC for 24.99 Fri & Sat only.

I once went shopping on BF. Never again. You can save money if you get it before it runs out of stock, and if you can fight your way thru traffic and crowds etc. etc.

I went for the first time last year really early, and it was pretty crazy. Circuit City's computers went down and caused me to have to wait in line an extra hour and a half, but in the end i left the store with 5 DVDs, some small gifts, and a computer program for like $35. I got gifts for 6 people with that!

This year I hope is better :thumbleft:

Of course...you're assuming that the stores haven't already thought of that and that they'll let you do that on BF and that the BF doorbusters don't have different internal item numbers and codes.

I hang out on Slickdeals.net and, to a lesser extent, on FatWallet.com, and one trick for smaller items is to come to the store a day or two before and "relocate" some of them to an area where you can hide them and no one will notice them. Then, come Black Friday, you go to retrieve them and voila!

I'm thinking about the $300 (after $150 rebate) dual core Pentium (more like a dual core Celeron, I think) lappytop at Circuit City. Staples might have the exact same one, but the price is unknown.

hmm. that's actually a good idea. hopefully they won't decide to organize the shelves before black friday, but as long as you do it the day before thanksgiving later in the evening...it should be good.
