Death Warrant Forums

K, so I'm new to the server and would like to say thanks, a wonderful RPG inv server it is. I enjoy it much.

I wasn't sure wether this should go into the server issues forum or here. So it's here because this is where my problem lies.

So anyway, recently I've been recieving an error when trying to connect to the server(s).

There's a screenshot of my error message, but if it happens not to work, I seem to be having difficultly with the raptor skins pack.

I've tried just rejoining, and completely clearing my cache to re download all info off the server, and no luck. I've looked around the forums a bit, and don't know/havn't seen any other posts with similar issues, has anyone else had such a problem? I'd like to continue to play this server.

On browsing the forums, I came across the UT cache extractor ( a nice, helpful little tool) and the raptor skins apear to be in my cache, so I dunno. Any tips?

If you ever had used the rapto as a playerskin, that may be the cause of the problem. Remove the raptor playerskin, and you'll have to find the raptor texture in the texture folder and then it should be good. You could try extracing the raptor texture from the cache and allow it to overwrite the old one and that may fix it also, or it could be the raptorskin texture in the cache that is causing it, but i don't think it should. See if any of that works for you.

You should just look throught your UT2004 folders and delete any files named RaptorSkins and reenter server

Issue solved, thanks much for the reply. It was infact a raptor skinpack I didn't remember installing; went through and deleted the files, cleaned the mess right up. Wouldn't have thought to look for those files if someone hadn't suggested, so thanks again!
