So, I noticed a number of threads popping up of late about stuff to do for the monster server ... So I figured I'd turn this around. Who out there has 2D art skills (Photoshop), or 3D art skills, and would be willing to help create some things to improve the server experience?
Feel free to post in the thread and I'll PM or email you.

I wanted to follow up with another post with some specific examples of things I'm looking for.
Right now one thing that I am interested in having is new, custom graphics for artifacts. I've made a couple already for the Medic class. These are 256^2 at original size, although in game they display at less than 64^2 (except at extreme resolutions).
Example 1
Example 2
Example 3
My inspiration for this is from
Guild Wars skill icons, which are generally pretty cool.
Here's more (Click on the Class you want to see in the upper right).
In general the idea is to have coherent themes for artifacts that may be associated with a class, like all the Medic artifacts have similar borders and a color theme of blue/white/gold. I kind of prefer abstract/geometric/impersonal icons over the more use-depicting style of some of the Guild Wars icons, but that's just me.
If you think you can make some icons in this style definitely let me know.

AHHH, only if my Photoshop trial version didn't expire 4 months ago! :banghead:
I'm stuck with paint again. Is there any other way I can help out with Monster Mash?

Well, yeah. I did say 3D models in the first post.
But, that aside, you've been making levels. That is a big help already, so don't beat yourself up.

Do you have a list of classes and artifacts? Also design guidelines, etc?
My inlaws are in town this weekend and I may be bored enough to lend a hand. Need to move all of my apps over to my new comp first.

I really liked the first example, that is pretty cool.
So what 3d models do you need to have made?
I maybe interested in trying to make a mesh.

If anyone ever needs a copy of Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, etc...I can get it to you real easy. I have an artist friend with a commercial license for like 100 of them or something and he gave me 10 serials...
Not that this is ILLEGAL or anything...lol

Like the Real Deal Photoshop??? No Trial no obsolete version???? I can't believe my ears. I'll like Photoshop or Maya >:D
I don't want to be a bugger. If it's too much of a hassle, then it's okay. I can wait until my student discounts kicks in :)
