Staticmesh package transsfer..

I'm trying to take a couple static meshes from a custom package and export them, then import them to "mylevel" package, so i don't have any extra files needed to play the map. How do i do this?
(I am making a Halloween version of my map, AdrenMart)

If they come as .usx you just put in static meshes folder then go to static mesh browser go to file and open then select the package, once you put them in the map and restart ued they will should auto appear in myLevel.

what i did was put them in the map, then right click and convert to static mesh, then put them in the 'mylevel' package and it worked... But now im missing all of the textures for those static meshes.... Now what?

1. Select mesh in browser.
2. Edit -> Rename, myLevel as package.
Edit: You'll probably need to import the texture from the mesh file as well. To do that you see which Material(s) the mesh is using in the Static Mesh browser, then go and open the mesh package in the Texture browser. Right-click on the texture you need and click rename, then save it to myLevel again. The static mesh should automatically point to the myLevel texture rather than the independent file.
Btw you'll need to add the mesh to the level in order to keep it when you reopen the map.

There is a halloween version of adrenmart already done and waiting to be on the server. This will take place on wednesday if things go according to plan...

Who edited my map?? Well that sucks... I've already put like 3 hours into making MY map into Halloween, and SOMEONE ELSE already has?

If you want to do a halloween changes to adrenmart, then do it and we can have both up and see what the players think about it.
