My love of history led me to studying Western martial arts which led me to collecting blades..oh and attending Renaissance faires where I can indulge in both of those pursuits.

Some faire garb and two daggers.

Flame blade and straight....

Hilts of my (l to r) hand and a half bastard sword, foil and broadsword.

Full length...the wooden bit across the bottom is my 6 foot quarterstaff.

I have another on the way...a basket hilt rapier...pics of it hopefully soon! All the blades in these pics come from Angel Sword. I encourage you to check them out! http://www.angelsword.com

Test? Hmm...only if you want to see a cutting test (you'll need to provide the pork shoulders!)...or....let me test my skill on you! ;)

I'm scared of sharp objects. They usually require a hospital visit and I even get a tear in my eye when the Dr. has to give me a shot. :toothy8:

Remember Karma, it's not the size of the sword that counts, but how skilled you are at using it :happy7:

I do random things:

Sculpt, paint, form, weld, or a combo of those
Mountain Bike
Cause irreversible psychological damage to my cats (oh wait, I have that reversed, it must be my dain bramage)
Spend time with the wife and my soon to be born baby daughter Fionah
Cheers, Damnidge

Gratz Damnidge! :D

I hope for the best for your family!

not in the lack of strength,
not in the lack of knowledge,
but rather in the lack of will.

Middle English, from Latin copiosus, from copia abundance, from co- + ops wealth — more at opulent
Date:
14th century

Is the question what we do with the large amount of spare time we have ? Or things we collect and or are fond of ?

Nice blades Karma , I need to take some picts me thinks.... My spare time as of recent has been , well your looking at it .
