hey guys as iw as a adren master i havent any problems with my globe..
but now as medic master even with 200 DR and full advacned DR i die so easy and i think 350 Dr wont change so much
and as weapons master i cant even get advanced DR so it will be more harder to survive
maybe we could set up DR to 400? or make advanced damage reduction aviable for weapons master till lvl5 ?
is it possible and is it a good idea?
Not enough DR
Well, if you're not satisfied with the dr, you can always use the protection weapons ;)
When you have max dr & adv dr, you are basically immune to all creatures in the first seven waves (aside if the monster lvl is high, or you are hit by goros & moles). It's a bit boring in those waves as a medic, but that's also why it's thrilling in the later waves as titans can STILL kill the best players in a single blow (unless you are holding a protection weapon or using the globe obviously lol).
I like where dr stands. Keep in mind that dr isn't the only thing keeping you alive. Be sure to stock up on vamp if you're a wm. Or get some countershove to keep them anguses off of ya. Quickfoot to outrun the wave 13 raptors. Summon monsters for meat shields. Get some hp so you have room to get hurt. & most importantly, get a good offense going. It's best to kill the monsters before they kill you ;)
I also want to stress the importance of teamwork here. We don't want people to be independent from each other. Use AMs to distract the monsters as they globe. WMs to protect the squad while leeching some of the kills from the ams (obviously the ams can't handle the seekers, sliths, distant titans, or wave 14 monsters by themselves), MMs to keep everyone alive (hint hint). Even globers need healing after they went through a wave of poison sliths lol....This doesn't mean that MM can't kill. MMs have good dr and they can be meat shields for awhile while ams rejuvenate their adren.
*Sigh* I'm going off topic. I think DR is great where it stands :P

The difference between successful people from others is
not in the lack of strength,
not in the lack of knowledge,
but rather in the lack of will.

It might not seem like much but there is a huge amount of difference between 200 and 350 dr. From somewhere around 200 dr, you basically go from instant death from a single seeker shot to surviving multiple seeker hits, as one example.

boss made a good point, you can have max dr, but if you dont have any health bonus, it will still take a big chunk
Its Pronounced Taz-Cross-Blade, not Tazer-Blade, not Taz-Crows-Blade, not Taco-Blade, Taz-Cross-Blade
Also, remember as you level up, you get stronger too, as DR calculations increase as you level up. The settings are about perfect in regards to everything else and for a wide range of players/levels as best it can be. We have literally worked years to get the formula just so. You never want the game to be easy for the majority or players as boredom quickly follows. Sure its tough in the beginning, Until you get over level 50, you will be working your ass off staying alive, but as you get closer to 100 and beyond, things begin to get a little easier with each level.
I think you invested too much in DR right off the bat and did not balance it with Vamp! Take the advice of those above and get that damage bonus maxed and you will see a big difference between 200 and 350.DunKing wrote:hey guys as iw as a adren master i havent any problems with my globe..
