This map is pretty to look at, but it is way too laggy. Every time I have played it, it has been bad. I thought at first it was my older vid card, but now I am upgraded, and it is still bad. Unplayable even. I like the map, but in it's current state, it is impossible to play on.

I agree that it is laggy at times. Been thinking of having a look-see at it.

Well I dont get that so much lag but..Xtrmly Big maps with so few vehicles any how is not that fun..

I don't typically get alot of lag, as I am so close to the server and have a fairly decent machine running. But that one gets me everytime. It starts out well enough, and then progressively gets worse, especially if it goes to OT.

The server is in Dallas. So, yes you're pretty close too. And, yes I get way less lag than some other people, but when I do get it, such as on the concealed respite map, it tends to be very very bad, and makes it impossible for me to play.

wow I didnt knew the server was so close to my home .. !!!.. And even closer to yours.. ! thats so nice ONe more reazon to keep playing there for us.. huh??

Thats strange i hardly ever get any lag on the server unless its totaly full of players on a bad map and i live in England... guess im lucky :drunken:

People very often confuse lag with a CPU/Video card bottleneck because it looks exactly the same. If you are experiencing "lag", do an F1 and check out everyone's pings. If you are truly experiencing server lag, then everyone will have elevated pings (above 100, or more). If not, you are experiencing a CPU/Vid card issue. Go into the console and type stat fps. This will show you what framerates you are getting.

I have removed CR, because a lot of people complained about the frames they were getting. It's not a great map anyway, so it's gone.
