I get soooooooo sick and tired of playing and having my own team constantly running team mates over with vehicles. There needs to be a mod that would cause damage to the player that does this.

They shouldn't cause damage to you unless they exit the vehicle and then it hits you or they knock some other object/vehicle into you.

I know what you mean though. There are reverse team damage mods out there, but I doubt there are any that limit it to just vehicles (or perhaps even account for it). In other words players would be hurting themselves every time they had a friendly fire incident, and this would piss people off really fast.

I just get really frustrated because when you are trying to take out an ion tank, or do something critical some moron comes along, and pushes you out of the way, or knocks you straight into opposing team fire, or just plain crushes you into a wall or something...oh and the old bail out of the manta thing and the manta slides into you. Finally when you try and earn some points and build a node a tard will come along and knock ya out of the way so they can touch the node

Yeah, sometimes it's like dealing with little kids in a candy store.

If there's one thing I've discovered in the last 4 years of playing this game it's that there's a LOT of bad drivers in UT! ;) Some of these situations aren't helped by in the inclusion of certain modified vehicles (whose maker shall remain nameless ::cough:: starts with "G" ::cough::) in some maps wherein they exacerbate those player-vehicle collisions. The best one can do is to be hyper-aware of one's surroundings, be on the move constantly and don't stand still while building a node. Keeping a weather eye out for -all- traffic, friendly or hostile!

Manta throwing is an art and can be very effective against your opponents! There's also the art of Hellbender tossing, of which a certain DW member is very good at indeed (who also shall remain nameless)at least where it concerns my head! Nearly all of these types of teamkills are accidental (although I'm not so sure about the 'Bender dropper...I think he has it in for me!).

There will always be a certain number of tools who just go all spastic when they're driving. I know exactly how ya feel, Mers...happens to me every time I play. :) However, if ya run into someone who's teamkilling you consistently, please find a DW member and let them know! If they aren't an admin, they can usually find one pretty quick and then we can drop a whole other kinda hurt on the perpetrator. :D

Ive been playing for about 4 years as well. It's not really team killers....it's the ppl, and there ARE a lot of them who just feel the need to go out of their way to hit ppl for whatever reason. Kids maybe? Especially in scorpions. And yeah the G vehicles suck as well.
I like playing on foot...its what I am good at so, I experience the idiots in vehicles a lot. If I would use a vehicle personally I wouldn't feel the urge to hit my own team....not that hard to go around someone. As far as the nodes it's not building them it's the childish knocking a team mate away from the node so they cant 'touch' it and gain the points....point stealing. I'm just on a rant because the last week or two has been ridiculous with this.

Oh and hey!? Where have the DW members been? Haven't seen you, Choco, Fondle, a lot of others in a long time!
