I reinstalled UT2004 today to remove all of the mod junk I have on here, and I downloaded the Ut2004 patch 3369. I did what the ReadMe and ran ut2004-win64.exe but a message came up saying 'Your CD Key is invalid. Please Reinstall to fix this problem'

THIS IS NOT TRUE! My CD Key was allowed when installing and I can connect to MP games, so why is it telling me it is wrong. does someone have a solution??

I have an application that allows you to change the serial key of your game. I could send you if you want.

but first:
1. Did you buy the game. Because some download ut-version have invalid key.

I bought this UT from a Game Shop in the City. It is a valid key, and it worked fine in multiplayer before I reinstalled. It's also worth noting that I simply deleted C:\UT2004 because it wouldn't uninstall any other way. Am I gonna have to format to get UT working again?

LoL.

If you simply deleted UT2K4 and reinstalled you may have caused problems with the registry .

Should always remove programs through window , then delete all the excess files.

Just a shot in the dark . :sad1:

oh sh....ugar. What do I do now :(

EDIT: It uninstalled flawlessly this time, but when I run the patch-64.exe from the SYSTEM folder it comes up with the UT.exe preloader saying 'Windows 64-Bit Edition' for .05-2 seconds then vanishes with no effect. WTF?

Have you tried running the 32-bit patch instead?

er... on vista x64??? I'll try it...

EDIT: It worked! Thanks Shards... wtf... 32 bit on 64 bit... WEIRD. Nao begins the huge task of extracting DWMM...

EDIT2: Well, I selected everything in my Cache and clicked extract>yes to all, and it comes up with this the first time

Executing 'C:\UT2004\system\ucc dumpint C:\UT2004\System\DruidsInvasionSpree103a.u'...

Loading C:\UT2004\System\DruidsInvasionSpree103a.u...
Unable to load package 'C:\UT2004\System\DruidsInvasionSpree103a.u'
Syntax: ucc dumpint <file.ext> [file.ext...]
Failure - 2 error(s), 0 warning(s)

why is it doing this for some parts?

EDIT3: Nothing extra appeared in the Mutators section either. Little help here please?

I'm basically asking, how have you ppl got MM style working on SP on your computers?

You probably need to validate your cache since some of the files it says are there might not actually be there.
