Connection refused ...'Server refused to send JumpshipTextures'

In this case, if there is no fix, what's the chances I can dl this file directly from your redirect? I just need to know the address of the redirect you're using these days. Thanks.

a solution is to download the CBP2 map pack. has the jumpship texture along with a multitude of maps.

Thank you, Corky. I'll give it a try.

*Edit: JumpshipTextures was still missing after installing CBP2, so I took another tack. I cleared my UT cache, joined server 2, and as various files were being downloaded to my computer I ran 'netstat -ano' to see what connections were open. I was then able to figure out the address to the redirect, and once there I was able to grab the JumpshipTextures file I needed. I hope this solves it. I'll let you know.

Hey ya, Dvn!

It's a little odd...usually you'll get "server refused to send" errors when a file -isn't- on the redirect. I checked to make sure the JumpShipTextures.utx file was where it was supposed to be...both on the redirect and on the server itself and it's there in all cases.

The only other thing I can think of (and I'll check this) is that the mapper modified the file and mis-typed the filename (didn't copy it exactly from the original). It may have something to do with how the FTP site handles case sensitive filenames. Let us know if you're able to play the map...DM-Command & Conquer, correct?

Ya, after I installed CBP2 per Corky, I checked to see if JumpshipTextures was installed. It wasn't, so I went through my bag of tricks to get your server redirect address.

I am able to play DM-Command & Conquer offline, so that much works. I'll have to be around when they vote it up to see if I'm able to get onto the server. I'm thinking, hoping that I've solved the problem. I'll definitely let you guys know one way or the other.

*I had a thought that you could test it yourself if you rename your "JumpshipTextures.utx" to something else and see if you're able to then download it from your redirect.

Yah, that's on my S.O.P. list when files won't send...I'll be trying here shortly. :D Thanks again, Dvn!

I believe this issue has been fixed. There was an error with the filenames not matching between what was in the map and what was on the server.

Caution note for mappers: DO NOT EDIT ANY STOCK PACKAGES!

When you close the editor, if it says package(1,2,3... etc) has been changed and needs to be saved just ignore this message. DO NOT SAVE THE PACKAGE!

Brain, I edited out my previous comment...and you're right...you can seriously fubar your UT install editing -stock- packages and then saving them when UnrealEd asks. Thanks for catching this one!
