That Titan MiniBoss

Hiya, i was wondering if anyone has the Pawn data like the .u stuff for that awesome miniboss Titan in the server, i would like it as i luv to just mess around single player or play Lan with my brothers :)

Would it maybe be possible to share this neat Titan? :)

Check ur cache, I don't know how the cache thing works, because I don't have it, but everything you download from ut2004 servers, goes there.

Search for miniboss.u or idk

i have searched it everywhere, my guess is that its hidden somewhere in the DWRPG or DWInvasion files somewhere, i cannot find it anywhere :( i really wanna kill him for the first and probably last time in my life xD

Well, it's a mutator. From what I hear that mutators could be such a hassle to extract from the server and place it on your local machine since it could be demanding for many other files. I'm relating this to the Hoverboard mutator I wanted to test. It's a pain....I never got it to work. Always missing something. Just wasn't worth it.
I believe the MiniBoss is dependent on a few files. If you don't feel like executing some console commands, then you'll need the wave trigger mutator, too. The mutator that causes events between waves. You'll need the maps with the newer miniboss spawn actor (then you'll need the files the map require). Then you got the resources for the miniboss: miniboss skin, sound, static meshes (projectiles), and even animation.

I'm sure it's doable, but it's harder than it looks. I wouldn't be the one to tell you how.

I Wonder if Wraith's Exceedingly large human brain could give some hints towards how this stuff is setup? :P Hmmm

Thinking about it i have that MH-DW-MonsterMashArena map or whatever its called, the one with the titan spawning on the roof, if i could find a way to use it then i might be able to get it out.. hmmmm i will have some play around and see what i can do, if i find it out i will share how i did it since a few people seem to be slightly interested :)

I Found him, if u wanna play with him a little he is in the file: MiniBossMutator_Beta3

he is: MiniBossMutator_Beta3.MechTitanB

So feel free to play with him a little :D i certainly am gonna have some fun with this awesome titan :)

Hey Renegade_masta,

i have a MutIvnWaveNotify its a mutator that implements Actions in each wave. It´s good for invasion map that have doors for example who open in Wave 4.

What u have to do is to open .rar file and all the data that is in system to copy that thing in UT2004/system.

If u start then UT go to single player > mutators and set MutInvWaveNotify to the right side and then select a map, that has wave triggers.

I don't understand why you want to play single player. From previous stories I've heard, single player is ... "short term." Without any interaction with others in game, it gets old really fast.
