I present you: Time Travel
Time travel is a map set in the same place, but in four diferent times, so the terrain changes around, and what was previously a cold mountain map, turned into a springy garden with a waterfall and river, etc...

May I advise you to check out DM-Seasons before working on that one??

Hmmm Man ur making maps by the day.. chill out with the creation of them, new maps are good, but make 1 great map that takes a few weeks to create not 1 kinda crappy map that is created in 1 day Confliction arena took me just 4 days to finish and i started that in UT99 about 2 weeks ago, so this map i made took about 2-3 weeks to make it look good to play with a good balance of gameplay and visual appeal, i know UT2004 makes it easier and faster with all static meshes and stuff but theres some stuff a static mesh cant do. :P

But that's why I post them in beta versions, so I can hear everyone's advice first before the final version.
So I can improve them acording to everyone's advice.
Besides, I had this map already, just like many other maps I have... i just don't upload them all to the server.
Ho, and Ant... care to explain why you want me to check out seasons?
I saw the map images and description, but I don't get why you wanted me to do so.
Forgive me if I don't know what you are getting at, but I already remade the map from scratch and named it Time Travel, so it's not similar to the other one.
Is it that you want me to make the map as different from Seasons as possible?

If you're going to build a very similar concept to DM-Seasons, you should at least check out what already exists. Getting some inspiration or some ideas from a map is generally a very good idea.
Last time I checked out your 4Seasons map, it's lacking gameplay. It was really just four boxes connected by teleporters. DM-Seasons however, has a set setting that's not a plain box. There's a church, some walls, and even a graveyard outside of the walls. Not only that, it shows the contrasts of the seasons by using the same setting. Notice how the bell on the church rings fine until it freezes up in winter. There are pile of leaves underneath the trees during fall. Flowers bloom and the puddles even splash in spring. The benches are aligned and the church is set for mass during summer (actually the benches are moved around in each season). Same settings, but differences per season.

Ok, this map is done and ready for download:
Info:
When you first start, everything is locked, except for the pyramid in egypt.
You will have to read the clues that are in every special monument, to find out which door will open when you use the switch in that room.
Travel through different eras in time to unlock all the rooms in every era, so you can have access to more weapons and pick ups.
Find the last room and it will unlock the way to a special treat.
Features:
Movie-like Teleporters will tell you which era you are in when you arrive.
Good sound effects, are distinguishable and adequate to the situation.
Good visuals too are adequate and apropiate to the environment, make you feel like you are really on that era.
Find all sorts of traveling, from teleporters, to lifts, to jumpads.
A lot of terrain to explore, so you don't get bored after playing the map just once.
...and much more.
Known Issues:
*A couple of unknown textures are missing, but it does NOT affect the game in any way or form, so don't worry.
*The bots sometimes press the button and close the Door to the next map, and you will have to go back and do it again.
Unfortunatelly there is nothing I can do about this (That I know of), so either just kill the bots, or be patience.
Not sure if on the use trigger properties, under AI, I can disable the bots from using it, but it only occured to me now, and I'll check it out.

Once again, this map is like ten inv maps in one.
It'll benefit everyone (even you) if you reduce the size of the maps. When you do this, you can concentrate on details when you only have a small section to worry about.

A good place to start is by cutting the map in eighths (only one section and half that). Of course it doesn't have to be one section, but just to give you an idea of the total size. Seasons is now in the server, I would say you could make your sections slightly larger than what is there.
Other things to note:
Other things to note:
- Don't broadcast your messages. When the monster goes through the teleporter, it displays the message for everyone. In the scripted trigger, simply set bBroadcast to false. When there were many monsters, there were so many text on our screens we couldn't even read what's going on.
- Volcano is spelled wrong.
- Adren is spawning too fast. It's currently at 100 pills per second X3 pills.
- The tiled terrain looks bad (blend in the layers together, and scale up the textures will fix this).
- Some of the buildings, like the ice building over the teleporter looks really bad.
- Due to excessive terrain, it is extremely easy to glitch. Note: reducing the map size by about 1/8 will make this job much easier.
- The water texture in Europe looks like....milk? Applying multiple multiple U and V tiles on the fluid surface will fix this.
- Could use a better skybox. Feel free to check out Multiple Sky Tutorial from the Angel Mapper.
- You should free the people if they get trapped in the buildings (like the ice dome). Either set the movers to TriggerOpenedTimed with a long StayOpenTime or do something that'll let people out if they get stuck.
- Weapon placements may need to be revised. It's hard to find them. Note: reducing the map size will make this job much easier.
- Teleporters could break. If a teleporter breaks, someone's gonna be stuck and not happy. Always good to have a backup teleporter.
- Last thing is that I'm wondering where the Egyptian teleporter is suppose to take you? It just teleported us in mid air.
