After having a quick chat with Karma about events I quickly learnt that they are a lot more difficult to implement than I had expected :ssmile:

Then something hit me - If Clan DW are not planning anything special on the server this weekend I think it would be a nice touch to do a weekend special using something already implemented on the server.

Now guessing from the date (14th feb) I'm sure your thinking 'Oh god, shes thinking valentines the lovey dovey loser' but no I'm not - I dont really like valentines. What I'm requesting is weekend (fri-mon) or a week (sun - sun) of the Sparklers / Fireworks to celebrate Chinese New Year which falls on the 14th this yeah :) S'ok if no one agrees lol, I just think it would be nice to throw up some fireworks and Clan DW can join the Year of the Tiger with as much oomph as my extend step-family do in London :sbigsmile: (if this is possible and someone has the time to put them on!)

Sounds like a good idea. It's fairly simple to implement. It already has everything needed to make it work and, best of all, we already know fireworks do work in game. I think we should ask the MM community if any of them are good mesh makers and have a competition for a mesh for set events. Those that win get their meshes used in game for certain events (like new ones for exp shards etc. Using a recent example different coloured hearts instead of the crystals.) It would help draw the community together maybe and add some enjoyment outside of the game.

Well - I'm going to look into it.
And yes, anyone who can submit 3D models, emitter effects, whatever. That's always awesome because otherwise I have to do that myself.
