What happened?? I noticed the other night people were playing Dallas over Chicago, which is usually not the case. Then it disappeared yesterday.

The problem was this: In my mad scramble to get SV back online, I got locked into a 12 month contract in Chicago. Running both servers is just too expensive. Not only that, two 32p servers just cannibalize each other. For instance, at any one time, you can have 16 players on one, and 16 on the other, instead of having 32 players on one.
I'm not ruling out a return to Dallas for 2k7, but for now, we're in Chicago. But it's on a very good network, and most people should still ping well there. I played on the Dallas server (old provider) with a ping rarely lower than 100 or 96.
I'm also not ruling out getting another server out there in Dallas some where, but it would not be for a 32p ONS server.

*kittysnuggles Storm* Welcome back! Good to see ya. :cat:
Also...that works for me, I don't have as many packet loss problems on Chicago right now. I did a bit of local-end tweaking and managed to cut my loss rather significantly, too. ^^

It was good to see most of DW in there last night, Had some very good battles once they showed up. Course before that we had a bunch of sva's in there and others started talking bout us being cheaters, it was Funny cause E was kicking some #ss.

I dont know what everyones complaining about, when you start getting pings like mine then you want to start worrying about your game.
Im still getting numbers about 150 which is :bs:
Can we please get a server hosted in the uk maby ? :la:
Ok maby not but still....
Still a great server, and the high numbers dont really cause too much lag. Thanks Toxic.
