I have caught most of every game so far...Watching Mexico and Iran right now. That is like choosing the lesser of two evils.. 1-1 right now, hopefully that will hold.

Thats some funny stuff.
England have not got a hope though. They have won a match yes but lets be honest winning matches by getting your opposition to score goals is not going to work. What the hell is Peter Crouch doing in a world cup team? :cussing: He gets fantastic service from Gerrard at Liverpool and cant even score there!

I dont know I think we have a good chance of making it to the final this year, and regardless of it coming off the other teams man it was goal and a win !!!
Croutch played pretty well I thought, he was put up front by him self which was totaly unfair. He had no chance of challenging the defence by himself and no one else was playing deep enough to assist him.
We will see how much better England play this week hopefuly they will make up for the poor second half in the first match.

Wow.. The US just looked flat today. I have not seen them play that badly in a loooong time. They just did not do a single thing right..

Though my micro-apartment lacks a television, I'm going to have to BOO THE US OFF THE PITCH if they keep playing this badly! Then again, I like booing them off the pitch even when they play well. I think I'm going to make 5 bucks off of my friend when Italy KILLS THEM. :p
GO ITALY! :cat:

Blashphemer!!
They looked like shiat on Monday! They better light a fire under their asses and come out firing against Italy. I don't think that a tie will get us into the next round with the goals against.

Well another win for England !!! all be it a very late 2 goals croutch definatly redeemed him self :cheese:
And Gerrard with the second goal sealing the deal = qualification for the next round !
Unfortunatly that means the rest of the games in our group matches will be more boring using the B squad members to give our main lads a rest.
A mention has to be given to Lennon who played amazingly and is only 16.
COME ON ENGLAND

I thought that they should have pulled crouch instead of owen, but that shows you what I know! ;)
