[tab=30]Ever look at the scoreboard and see those people in the top places with thousands of points? I bet you wonder how do they gain so much experience every game right? Well ill tell you the basics of the game so you can get around to gaining the maximum amount of experience and make the most out of every map. :spunch:
[tab=30]First lets talk about what factors contribute to the amount of experience you get. The first and most basic is the level which certain maps were made for. For example if you are a level 25 you would get more experience from Forgotten Fane or Colloseum then you would in a map such as Utopia. You can check the details of every map by first going into your RPG menu by pressing "L" and then select "Personal Stats" in the top right corner. In the bottom right corner you will see a list of map names, simply select one and then look at the map details.
[align=center][/align] [glow=red]Threat[/glow]
[tab=30]Threat is something a lot of players do not know much about. It is a factor in the game that contributes greatly to how much experience you gain from every hit on an enemy monster. Basically More threat = more exp.
[glow=red]Gaining Threat[/glow]
[tab=30][wave=blue]Protector Class[/wave]
[tab=60]Protectors have the easiest time gaining threat as almost everything they do will give them a greater threat value. Everything from creating health pickups to summoning spirits will give them a higher threat value, but what contributes the most and makes them in my opinion the easiest classes to level up is the aggravator skill. This skill gives you a mocking weapon maker which generates threat at an amazing rate. The downside is you attract a little more attention your way and you maximum ammo is cut in half for the weapon/s you make of mocking.
[tab=30][wave=blue]Support Class[/wave]
[tab=60]Support classes generate threat through using their abilities such as summoning ammo, adrenaline, or monsters. It is hard to gain threat before rank 2 however because support classes have harder time regenerating the adrenaline they need without max adren leech and surge. Once you are rank 2 though leveling speeds up substantialy. This will generate threat at the fastest rate, and using your skills in this manner will get you scores like 3000 in cubes 4 all.
[tab=30][wave=blue]Berserker Class[/wave]
[tab=60]Sadly Berserkers do not generate much threat. They stay at about a constant amount but their superior damage makes up for that.
[fade]Having your threat higher will increase the rate at which your weapons level up as well. This is because the weapon masteries increase according to the amount of experience you get while using that weapon. So if your getting more exp faster your weapon masteries will max out in no time at all.[/fade]
And remember if you really want to level up, don't sit around in safe areas waiting for everyone else to kill the enemies and complete the objectives. Get out there and fight as well.
Please tell me if I've made any mistakes so i may fix get them corrected.

Your threat level does not reset after you die.
Another thing I might add. You only increase your threat level to current alive monsters. Monsters spawned at the end of the level will not be affected when you spawn a medkit at the beginning.

The difference between successful people from others is
not in the lack of strength,
not in the lack of knowledge,
but rather in the lack of will.
